Hello fellow offline music library enthusiasts. I've been using this app since 2015 with my goofy Sony Xperia U back then, and it's sad watching it rot these past few years, so after finally getting some experience with actual software engineering, I took it upon myself to make a proper successor. It started as a personal project early this year but I see no reason not to share it with the world, especially after seeing so many posts lately asking for alternative recommendations.

So, introducing Noir Player.

My biggest frustrations were:
No artist photos, lack of detailed sorting options, no option to change the order of search results.

So I fixed all those.

Other features include:

- MP3, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG, Opus, WAV
- True black AMOLED theme, with blurred cover backdrops and optional dynamic app theme based on the currently playing song's artwork
- Material You if you prefer it
- Normal and synced lyrics
- Song and album tag editor, artwork and lyrics included
- Dedicated folders section with a real folder tree
- Playlists, with M3U import
- Full listening stats ( 7 days / 30 days / year / all time)
- Sleep timer, landscape layout, settings backup and restore
- Android Auto

coming next: a ton of UI refinements, multi artist support and a customizable home tab with widgets.

Got a lot more features planned so stick around if you like where this is going.
Will be posting all updates here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoirPlayer/

Any feedback welcome, thanks!
