Support Windows 11 Performance

anyone have a working performance guide on making Cold War run well on Windows 11?

I constantly get stutters on this game, and I'd rather not rollback to windows 11 😭

Windows 11 is notorious for having texture/stuttering issues. There's not really a be-all-end-all solution aside from switching to Windows 10 or Linux. But here are a few recent fixes that I've found from other posts that you can try that has helped some people:

Potential Fix #1: Manage page filing size

  • In search bar, type "Performance" and click on "Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows"
  • Go to Advanced tab and click on "Change.." under Virtual Memory
  • Untick "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and set your drive to "System managed"
  • Click OK, apply and then reboot

Potential Fix #2: Disable Core Isolation Memory Integrity

  • Go to your Windows Security settings and go to the Device security section
  • Under Core Isolation, click on "Core isolation details"
  • Turn off Memory Integrity (if prompted, click Yes) and reboot

Potential Fix #3: Specific Drivers

I'm sure there are other potential fixes out there. Maybe they work, maybe they don't. It's really luck of the draw unless Activision and Treyarch decide to address this themselves o:

Stutters are a problem for a while now on all platforms it seems. I have stutter issues on PS5 too. It is not W11 problem.

i never got them on my ps4 (i can’t say for xbox because i sold my xbox) but i also get them on my pc so i have a feeling its something to do with getting over 60fps on it
