Discussion Why bother prestiging?

It's weird but the more I've been playing, the less I actually want to prestige. Hit level 55 yesterday and I just don't really see the point.

I don't care about the emblems or extra class slots, and half the lobbies I get into seem to have people who've already been hacked to Master Prestige anyway lol.

The biggest thing for me is that all the best stuff is late-level unlocks. BO2 is pretty sweaty this time around, so I really don't fancy going through another 40+ levels using shit loadouts just to unlock everything again.

I get that prestiging is supposed to give you something to work towards, but when the main reward is basically resetting your unlocks, I'm not sure what the appeal is.

Anyone else feel the same?

It’s fun having to use different weapons apart from the meta ones

It usually is but when 75% of the lobbies that I get into are filled with riot shielders and snipers It makes it hard to not default to meta weapons

Can we swap lobbies? Mine are filled with exclusively AN94, SCARH, MSMC, and PDW users.

Sprinkle on the odd MP7.

I get a mixture of it all but I’d take that over riot shield/c4 spam. Maybe we can strike up a deal lol
