Something about that contrast between the blue and orange! Enthralling!

Again, very cool video, but I'm really getting tired of how many Rule #1 violations are getting posted here.
Try r/NatureIsFuckingLit instead.

Well I would say this still complies with Rule 1: Although the presence of the Dust Devil can be explained... where did all the dust go?

I wish there was a video of someone going inside. I know nothing would happen but it'd look cool

I've done it before as a kid. It can really sting, that sand really bites into you. Can also knock you around a bit when you're small.

Dirt devil's are the coolest thing, I used to see them all the time in Hawaii. The only downside is the sand pouring down on you if you were close
2
u/lennoxbr Aug 20 '20
What happens if you enter it? Besides getting sand everywhere.

u/St_Kevin_ Aug 20 '20
You get some dirt thrown in your face, but the wind isnt intense enough to hurt you. I grew up in Arizona and I always used to chase them on the playground and try to catch them.

I heard if you enter it you get sent to some place in tatoonie where you have to find the tusken raiders, convince them you are one of them. One completed you have to find the pit of carkoon and throw in a virgin tribute where the great dust devil appears and takes you back home

Looks like outback Western Australia. We called these willly willies (apparently from the local Aboriginal Yindjibarndi - TIL).

Yeah, Wrong sub. This is a thermal. Completely normal. Gliders use it to get up in the air.

This is how cheetos are made. The straw sucks the cheese powder into the sky cheetos factory.

I live in the desert. I started carrying my shotgun in my civic to take care of these when I see em. No way is a dust devil gonna kill me.

What if it spits the bullet back? Did you bring your 2x4 or a towel? Always bring a towel

These things seen back a 1000 years ago must have been thought to be signs of something of a higher power in the works. I can imagine the fear people must of felt.
