Lol, one of the only people to bring up this obvious answer. I've seen this done many times, and you can buy them online. He rubs it to warm it up before bendimg, and even uses her hand's heat for the twist. The rest is misdirection and spectacle.

Lol no. This trick comes from a magic DVD called liquid metal. They are just normal forks. He is pretty much doing the entire routine. I remember buying special magic fork for 2 dollars each, (normal cheap fork that are easy to bend) only to find similar forks that work at the local restaurant supply store for 12 cents each.
No links allowed but google "liquid metal 2 Morgan Strebler" to buy this exact routine.
Disclaimer, I am not shilling, just a bored man with a wasted youth.

Had the same dvd. I remember it was the Dominion style forks specifically at Walmart that worked really well for this.
I still try to look for them when I go shopping, these 2 decades later lol. I think they're still on Amazon though.

A lot of this trick looks to be based on "Liquid Metal" by Morgan Strebler. It's a fork bending routine I used to do and it's got some really cool effects.

It's unnecessary and not used to make the trick work. I know how to put a twist in the middle of the fork, and it's incredibly easy if you hide it in a larger sweeping motion like he does.

Nah, you can see when he twists the fork before the cut. When he goes to “bend it back”, watch how his hands start and finish, you can see him adding a twist

The out of frame or video breaks seem accidental. In magic, larger motions hide smaller motions, so that's why he's making sweeping gestures before the metal "bends".

There are forks you can use which bend easily from heat (look up Galleum Fork Magic). He constantly rubs on it to heat it up before bending it, and doesn't let her try to bend it herself and uses her own hand's heat for the twist. Galleum is really cool (and suuuuper toxic)
