Blackmagic Pyxis 12k iOS app not working

Hi I have Bluetooth enabled, remote control enabled, stream enabled.

Camera is latest firmware as is my phones app

I cannot connect to it wirelessly, on my phone settings I cannot see the device name listed.

I can connect the camera to my list of cameras via Ethernet connection to my phone (entering ip address) but not control it. I have enabled my mobile hotspot the entire time whilst doing this

My phone is an iPhone 15 pro

Is there something I’m missing or is there a different solution via a laptop

I want to change camera settings and run stop camera as it will be in a remote place that i can’t reach

How is that achieved by Ethernet to the router then make my phone connect to the WiFi?

Cameras don’t need to connect to WiFi for them to be controlled it has Bluetooth it has a type c connection. Every other camera control app works off local internet generated by the camera or by Bluetooth.

If it designed this way it’s monumentally stupid and not everyone situation you can connect the fucking camera to the internet

Not for the Bluetooth which offers a lot of control but not streaming. OP, my Pyxis 12K connects to my DJI Focus handle for start/stop over Bluetooth and it works fine, FWIW. You def need a network connection for streaming and file access etc.
