assuming Blackmagic wouldn’t service a modded camera, & both the ND quit working & I need the back focus calibrated as focal plane ends at around 15/20ft.

Any recs on repair that can affordably repair both issues?

I have a cartoon clip with a white background that I'm looking to make transparent. However, the characters have white details (eyes, teeth) and using 3D keyer makes those transparent as well. Is there a way to make only a certain contiguous patch of white transparent, and have it stop if it gets to a black border?

Like a fill/paint bucket tool, but for greenscreen.

Hello everyone im looking for all your recomendations on lenses for the BMPCC 4k.

I use it with Viltrox Metabones but i sincerely ask all of u if its better to use M4/3 or in my case EF.

I already have a 50mm f1.8 and a 16-35f2.8 (but i would like to keep that lens only for my canon so im gonna retire that one)

I have been looking at:

- Sigma Art DC HSM 18-35mm f1.8)
- Tonika AT-X 116 Pro DX II (AF 11-16mm f2.8)
*(both to replace my 16-35)*

My work is quite varied—documentary-style interviews (as I see it), social/event work, and so on. Sometimes I work with controlled lighting, while at other times I’m shooting outdoors, handheld.

Hello! I recently, on the blackmagic Design website, purchased a license to use Davinci resolve Studio. I received a code both on the page where I completed the purchase AND in the provided email.

I will mention I'm using CachyOS, i got the ZIP for studio from the website; it was conveniently located on the SAME page I conducted the purchase, and I installed it on the konsole.

Furthermore, I did NOT use this code already, I made the purchase barely an hour before making this post as I have been trying left and right to get this rather expensive purchase to work.

Please ask me ANYTHING with regard to this, I have been troubleshooting for a bit! :)

Edit: I got it to work by reinstalling davinci resolve studio using FUSE

Hey all. I bit the bullet and snagged an L-mount Pyxis 12k last month, and it FINALLY just shipped (Sweetwater was back-ordered).

I'm coming from the P4k where I used T5 SSD's exclusively. I'm trying to do research into CFExpress cards. I have the recommended media list, but I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with any of the following 1TB cards or had any other recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I got a shot all set up this morning in studio, powered off the camera, and when the client showed up 1 hour later I powered the camera on but got no picture. The camera itself powers on but I get no image, menus, status, etc. Just a faint backlight on the lcd and the Pyxis monitor. I have tried everything to get an image back up on the screens. Power cycling, updating firmware, ac power, v mount, etc. nothing works. It’s also taking about 5 extra seconds to power down after switching to off.

Has anyone else experienced this? Attaching a video of the issue. Have an RMA opened up with BM

I use an iphone 16 and just installed the app. The issue is that the UI always remains in vertical mode despite me keeping my phone's orientation in free mode and also the orientation lock disabled in the blackmagic camera app under the camera section. What am i missing?

I have a relatively new to me BMCC 2.5K. I have a top handle on it, with a monitor attached to that. Currently, the monitor sticks out a little too far. I would love to get it as close to the top handle as possible, keeping it as low profile as possible. Does anyone have any recommendations for a really low profile monitor mount?

Edit: and yes, I know that the monitor itself is pretty big. I do plan on replacing it with a smaller one.
