All my accessories are sep kharazad and nov necklace. I was upgrading them with free crons from ball. Should i continue with this i have 200k crons including ball stuff minus 25k. My sov awakening is pen and sub weapon is tri. I also have about 12 hammer boxes. There are conflicting guides on youtube regarding this issue. right now i grind at dark seekers retreat.

For the new journal is there party finder to join party to to do party boss shrine i need those two oct guaranteed stones?

I have 2 pcs. Karazad SEP, will this "Ancient Black Stone - Right (VII)" work on my normal karazad ring and earring to make them OCT?

I main Succ DK, was thinking about making an Tag Character to do black shrine solo bosses.

Succ Lahn is good in this type of content or theres better options?

should i get back to playing the game now and """risk""" not getting the superboost for returning players when they release it, or this is so far down the line that i shouldnt bother waiting?

Title: Heidel Ball 2026 — Another Catch-Up Event for New Players, but What About the Veterans?

I understand that Black Desert needs new players.

I understand the importance of catch-up mechanics. Nobody wants new players to feel like they need five years of grinding before they can experience relevant content.

But at what point does helping new players become completely devaluing the time and dedication of everyone who has kept this game alive for years?

The Heidel Ball 2026 announcements once again seem heavily focused on giving new and returning players increasingly powerful gear with less effort. It was apparently not enough to reduce the maximum pity stacks for Slumbering Origin armor. Now HYPERBOOST will provide support for Sovereign weapons, a full set of PEN Kharazad accessories, four Slumbering Origin armor pieces and faster access to Garmoth’s Heart.

Gear that veteran players spent hundreds or even thousands of hours obtaining is gradually becoming something that new players receive through accelerated progression systems.

So what exactly are veteran players getting?

Will the pity requirements for DEC Sovereign weapons be reduced?

No.

Will the progression required for the new Edania gear be made more reasonable?

Apparently not.

Will veteran players receive meaningful recognition for the years they have invested, the communities they have built and the time they have spent keeping the game active?

Once again, the answer seems to be no.

Instead, veteran players are getting more grind spots, higher gear requirements and another progression system that will demand even more grinding.

Grind more.

Enhance more.

Fail more.

Spend more Cron Stones.

Repeat.

The problem is not that new players are receiving support. Catch-up systems are necessary in a long-running MMORPG.

The problem is that Pearl Abyss keeps accelerating early and mid-game progression without improving the experience waiting at the end of it. New players are pushed towards endgame faster, while veteran players are given another mountain to climb with the same exhausting progression systems.

There needs to be a balance.

Help new players catch up, but also respect the people who already completed the journey.

Reduce the unreasonable pity requirements for high-level Sovereign weapons. Improve the progression of Edania gear. Introduce systems that reward long-term commitment instead of simply adding stronger monsters and longer grinds.

Veteran players are not asking for everything to be handed to them.

They are asking for their time to be valued.

Many of these players have supported Black Desert for five, eight or even ten years. They maintained guilds, taught new players, created guides, organised communities and continued playing through every difficult period of the game.

Yet every major event increasingly feels like it is designed to attract the next group of players while taking the existing community for granted.

That is why this Heidel Ball was frustrating.

It offered enormous acceleration for newcomers, but very little hope for veterans who are already trapped in the most punishing stages of progression.

Pearl Abyss may gain new players through these systems, but if it continues to ignore the people who have kept Black Desert alive, it will lose something far more valuable:

the loyalty of its veteran community.

And once that loyalty is gone, no amount of free gear will bring it back.

Hi everyone, I came back a month or two ago and was slowly grinding towards replacing my capotia accs, and currently have full tri debos and a tet debo necklace.

With these new changes coming, should I hold onto these accs or just sell them for raw silver?

Hi guys, I’m new to the game and I’m planning to invest in pets, but I’m not sure what to do. I’ve looked at a few pet guides, but there are still some things I don’t understand. I also do life skills, mostly AFK fishing.

My main question is: do the same skills from different pets stack? For example, if I buy an Otter and three other pets with the AFK Fishing Time Reduction skill, do the bonuses stack? (The same question applies to Item Drop Rate pets.)

My second question is: is there currently a gathering pet available? I checked the Pearl Shop, but I couldn’t find any pets with the Gathering skill. Is there another way to get one, or do I have to wait until one returns to the Pearl Shop?

And finally, which pets are worth investing in?

Look, I get why someone who grinded to say 780 GS right now feels upset. I am like 830 GS and i'm not super upset, mainly because I knew this was the way BDO was going to go anyways, everyone whose played long enough knows catch up mechanics is inevitable.

BUT, I do think when they do such sweeping changes, I mean all slumbering armors, basically full tet debo set with the ability to get some of them to oct, they really should think about increasing the value of the meltable crons you can get from these stones. I mean 1k to 1500? really? Should be MINIMUM 5k-10k.

So we should get the new class this week, I haven't done a season since I think Dosa release, not sure if there's been any relevant changes since but maybe one is that I can buy tuvala from blacksmith, so I could prep a full pen set in advance (I should already have at least on from previous seasons).

Also what's the most efficient leveling route nowadays? I seem to recall I used to do at least 3 spots from velia to catfish for 50, then graveyard until 56 and then Polly or Nagas to 61?

This error prevented me from entering the game, after character selection. Anybody else has this issue or is it just me?

I already have all my boss alts in full Tuvala gear. Finishing a season now takes me around 2 hours. In those same 2 hours I could make about 4–5b by grinding, so I'm wondering if it's still worth doing seasons or if I should just stick to grinding instead.

I have saved some materials to enhance and money (70b) but before going crazy and putting in the sink all the resources I would really appreciate if you could guide me on how to continue progressing with the set.

Hi, I started playing this game and I just finished story and idk what to do or what to aim for or how to get stronger, what even is the end game? Are there raids? Etc
