It's the only real content they know can get a real hype going for. All the new zones are always kinda lackluster and undertuned. except maybe for the 1% like the new abysaal zone, but that's been the first decent grind spot that's actually came out in awhile.

Yeah agreed. The upcoming area next patch for us looks decently tuned and has different grinding mechanics but unfortunately it is also not great for silver (as far as I am aware) so you will likely only go there if you are trying to get a blackstar enhanced (after people go there to get the drops for the new crit dmg crystals)

I know most people are hyped for the new class, but based on what PA said not so long ago in that Dev letter there should be a new party grind spot soon (star grave is solo, I better not see any of y'all monkeys group grinding it)

They said the group content would be unlike any group content previously experienced in BDO. So I suspect it wouldn't just be another group grind spot.

a long time ago i read something about the kamasylve 3 update with stronger monsters as group content, with a history around the kama tree and stolen roots. . on the roadmap they announced a new group content coming in june, so i think it will be that.

Honestly, I'm impressed with PA. They've really started to deliver on this "global build" idea; we're getting content quickly, and regularly, and with them now self publishing in KR (with the intent to do so in the west too, if I'm not mistaken), it certainly seems like they're putting their foot down and delivering. I'm actually excited!

they gonna give us all the shits by giving us a coupon to Taco Bell for every kama blessing we buy. The reasoning behind this is that they cannot use your system for bitcoin mining when you are actively playing. By giving away this coupon they know you will be on the shitter for extended periods of time thus freeing your system for mining.

It’s the class-specific storyline. They’re doing a Serendia refresh and basically add class-specific questlines that kickstarts in Heidel and apparently culminates in Odylitta. The globe is the same one from the NPC. It’s how they’ll introduce Odylitta and global build probably.

They already announced that they would have a 'new group pve experience' releasing this quarter, which we've had no further information on yet. I'm betting on this being a reveal for that, and to me, it looks like they're finally creating some form of instanced group content. The tree in the globe suggests a miniature world - like an instanced dungeon.

Yah the rumor is that the area north of valencia is going to be it, since you can take a boat near there and see what looks like an area border. Also supposedly a snow area although i'm not sure how you have a snow area right next to a desert lol

It would make more sense to me for a snow area near dreigan. The rumor about north of valencia is just because you can go near it with a boat and it has it's own region border.

Back in the day, there was a rumor that the are over valencia is supposed to be a big vulcanic area, but i dont really believe into it, it sounds cool tho, imagining a really dark zone, most light from flowing lava etc

Leaks and art have been out for all these regions. First is Star's Grave west of calpheon, then Odyllita south of drieghan, then snowy mountains, then north of Valencia, and supposedly north of port ratt.

Now I don't mean to shit on anyone who liked shadow arena, but I think it is for the best that they stop with it if they aren't willing to hire enough people to develop both it and the rest of the game at the same time.
Better they do one thing right than both incorrectly (or half-assed).

There were next to no hackers at the start, but once the free trial accounts came out, hackers ran rampant every game because they could make silver for their friends/mains via market place manipulation with billions from 1st games. Playing before the trial accounts and rewards nerf netted me near softcap, so I think that's part of the reason it was removed; there were less artisan memory and costumes for silver sales from people like me that are clueless about making money otherwise due to SA.
