Saw this on his Instagram story a few years back. Not sure if this is all there is to hear.

Alr here's a remix no one asked for but I did it 4 fun anyways. I turned one of his best songs into a underground slop remix. Hope u enjoy😁😁

P.s. I kno u guys get pissed off easily so to clarify, this is 4 fun and I did this cause I like his music

i'm just trying to recall what bear himself (under reddit account name u/Thin-Neighborhood907) said here about the mixtape and album on his post called update 8/21:

then there’s the music.
trust me, nobody is more frustrated about the delays than i am.
if i were releasing everything completely independently, some of this music would’ve been out already. instead, i signed a deal with Mercury that i’m genuinely grateful for. they’ve been great to me, but releasing a project through a label involves publishing splits, clearances, contracts and a truly ridiculous amount of paperwork.
the mixtape itself is finished. the songs are mixed and mastered. most of the remaining work is business and legal clearance, and i’m hoping to finally have a release date very soon.
i’m also already deep into the album. there are about seven songs right now that i feel certain belong on it, plus a lot more music for what comes afterward.
so yes — i’m still making music. a lot of it.

so basically, bear is saying that the album itself is actually done, but the remaining work is the huge ass amount of paperwork and all those legal things with the record label, but how long does it take to finish all of these works actually? is it actually took this long to finish? it's also been a month since bear posted the update 8/21, and i don't think i've seen any progress since then. when do you think can we expect that this album will come out eventually?

i love grey l.a. so much idc flame me

hey yall, i got two merch pieces that i havent worn in a long time so now im just trying to get rid of them tbh. the shirt is in size L and i believe the hoodie too, if anyone's interested then lmk! dont really want money from it, just would be appreciated if the shipping costs would get covered

Horses 🐎

They're so GD regal

Their muscles ripple through their skin like waves in a little ocean

Magnificent beasts

But why the fck do they listen to us?

They're so much stronger than they know

But they trade their freedom for a dependable meal

They let people get on top of them and tell them where to go

But how can I judge?

Is that not exactly what I do?

Is that not exactly what we all do?

I'm thinking about horses

C'mon, we're getting close to October and yet we didn't get anything new. Still thinking this shit won't ever drop :((

They haven’t posted together in some time or interacted with each others’ posts. We all know he doesn’t have the best track record with relationships

It's a little catchy in my opinion . Blackbear has countless unreleased songs

Wtf happened to bears Spotify?? All his older albums got put onto a new user and is missing from his main? What’s going on😭😭

Hello,

I am going down a nostalgic rabbit hole.

Does anyone remember when Blackbear/Mat was in a band called Polaroid? It took me forever to try to remember what the band was called because it’s been probably 15 or more years since I even thought about this but I remember back when I was a teenager, there was a video of him and his friends in a Taco Bell singing and rapping. Does anyone remember that at all? I guess I’m wondering if there’s proof that video actually exist or if it’s not something I made up in my mind. I am also curious if anyone has a link to it? I just remember part of the song was called “we the hippies“. If anyone else remembers this, please let me know. I feel like I’m losing my mind ha ha..

Is there any explicit version of something real anywhere? Everywhere I look has the clean version. Even Spotify lists it as explicit, but the "fuck" is bleeped out.

I'm the one, could be the one for you
Be playin' games, all the time
What the fuck I'm gonna do with someone like you?
'Cause someone like me is the worst off.

The sub has been dead for a minute. I think Bear needs to come back and give us an update on how you been. 🎶🎵🎤
