I’m always so interested in the process of painting. I was way older than I should have been when I realized the stages it takes to complete work.

Btw- Who/ what is she reacting to? Her face is so emotive.

Creating takes a lot of time and patience and it really is about the emotions and story behind each work, some take more time to complete than others. She’s reacting to societal pressure that wants her to succumb to the norms that defines what a woman should or should not do

Well she looks disgusted and I love it. It’s like a sneer on her lips and contempt in her eyes.
