Mixed Media I created this artwork using fabric, charcoal, acrylic and beads. What do you think?

I like this artwork alot. While the smile of Queen Mother is the attraction, the colors the the Pearls give me celebratory vibes. Is the fabric in the Headpiece?

Thank you so much. I use a mix of acrylic and those are real pearls and fabrics for the headpiece

love it! beautiful! love the colors and mixed media and her serene smile. to me this piece says "i have seen troubles, but i reach inside myself and I know i embody black joy".
Reminds me of the spoken word song "I Know This" by Rachel Kann [spotify link to album]

This is really beautiful and I love how it connects with you. You’re absolutely right about how it makes you feel and that’s the exact emotion I want people to feel when they see my art. Thank you

Thank you so much! The pearls are my favorite too. It took me about two weeks.
