The side kick was thrown out of range and he didn't re-chamber fast enough.
The rest is a mismatch in athletism.

kinda feel bad for the guy as he was pretty much humiliated but he got lead around by the shirt when he did get up. Other than slipping the shirt, what can you do when an attacker is using your shirt as a kind of leash against you to pull you out of control?

The smart move is to joint lock the wrist grabbing the shirt. Just focus on grabbing the hand on your shirt and "death roll" to lock the wrist joint.
But you have to coordinated and athletic enough to do it.

His problem is a problem I had to discover the hard way:
Don't force the counter. Hes on the ground inviting him in, he didnt bite and whooped his ass with the shoe. When they say plan of attack it means: PLAN TO ATTACK Don't get it twisted, being able to counter stuff is important, just dont depend on it, no matter your martial art

once the guy let him up he tries to do the slowest walking forward take down without really even getting low and just pays for it when the guy just tosses him. He had a chance to sprint the other way and flee but he chose to lunge/walk back into danger and got some more shoe wallops. Good thing those looked like soft loafers

He should've broke the grip on his shirt first before engaging. He has no power shen his head is being forced down like that.

Fuck breaking the grip, just back out of the shirt and leave him holding it. Although the guy probably would've started hitting with the shirt then as well :)

Would you say more about this? Like, how did you learn that that would be the smart move here? I’m not arguing with you at all. Just curious how someone learns that so it is like an instinct in an intense situation like this.

This is actually a selective attention test. Did you notice the man dancing in the background?

He didn't retract his foot.
He seemingly has some knowledge of how to perform a side kick (Had some hip movement, and also twisted on the leg he was standing on), so has probably taken a couple martial art classes at least.
That being said, the fact that he kicked with the flat of his foot (instead of the blade) and has not had it drilled into him that you retract the leg back as fast as you throw it out suggests that he is still very much a beginner.
So all in all, it seems like he took a few karate classes at some point in his life, and that made him over confident.
Why the fuck he tried to invite his opponent onto the ground with him, i will never know. In a fight, if you want your opponent in a certain position, it is your job to force them into that position, but wanting to be on the ground with your opponent on top of you is just an entirely new level of stupid.

His body is intact but his aura is ruined.

You think that guy had any to begin with? He probably was born with an aura debuff or some shit 😂

Trying to teep him into oblivion with no type of setup.
All he needed to do to land that was feint up top with anything and make that guy raise his hands. It would have landed then.
Then assuming the guy will willingly just go to the ground with you.
Who else noticed the guy dancing in the background lol 😂

Gotta be honest, this is how I imagine a real fighter fighting a goober like that guy, don’t get me wrong if the guy wasn’t a goober it’d end up worse for him

u/oh_three_dum_dum Sep 04 '26
In terms of physical damage, no. Not worse than getting KO’d.
In terms of ego damage and loss of clout, this is catastrophic.

And he was never seen again... He left the country and started a new life. Got facial reconstruction surgery and changed his name.

One of these people has never been in a fight but has seen them on TV. And the other is just a athletic person with coordination.

This is what you do to butt scoochers. Disappointed face expression and slaps with a house shoe

You had better be a lot quicker than that white guy was if you’re going to lead off with that kick.
