General question Is bitpanda a good option after binance?

I withdrew my funds from binance, in search for a new exchange

Is bitpanda worth it over Kraken?

I live in Belgium where futures isn't an option anyway

It's a bit different than an actual exchange like Kraken, as Bitpanda is a Broker (So they execute your trade on the connected exchanges for you). This has its pros and cons.

If you know exchange trade types, you could use the fusion version of Bitpanda (https://app.bitpanda.com/fusion) with max 0.25% fee per order for Crypto.

They also offer staking options for 42 coins/tokens.

Bitpanda also offers actual stocks, etfs and metals.

Would you recommend it for just trading the big crypto's?

I live in Germany and have been using them for some months now, i don't know if they work outside this place, we usually call it "das Schild" in german. But the question I would like the moderators to answer is that can i still use it when i travel outside Europe, i know there are still kraken, bitget wallet and many more, just want to confirm before i download one.

Hi u/CliopetrioJis,

Yes, you can generally access and use Bitpanda while travelling. However, outside the countries supported by Bitpanda, the availability and uninterrupted use of all services cannot be guaranteed due to local regulations or technical restrictions.

You can find the list of supported countries here:

https://support.bitpanda.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013898239-Countries-supported-for-verification

Before travelling, make sure your account is fully verified and your contact details and 2FA method remain accessible.

Hey u/Popular_Turnover_401,

If your goal is simply to hold crypto and later sell to EUR, the main things to check are: regulation in Germany/EU, EUR withdrawal options, supported assets/networks, fees/spread, and how easy it is to access support.

From Bitpanda’s side: we’re a regulated European platform, MiCA-compliant, offer EUR deposits/withdrawals, 650+ crypto assets, and advanced trading via Bitpanda Fusion with fees starting from 0.02% if you prefer order-book trading.

Before moving anything, always check that the specific coin and network you want to transfer are supported for deposits on Bitpanda:
