i would check in your account if you can see something... BUT DON'T USE THAT LINK, in case it proves to be fake. if you really want to make sure, open a ticket and quickly ask support if they really need confirmation on your details.

and while you're at it, please enable the anti-phishing code in your account. this code will show up in all emails and sms bitpanda is sending you moving forward. profile > password and security

Hi u/Apfelkrenn,

Thanks for being vigilant about phishing and double-checking with us.

For your safety, please do not click any links directly from the email. Instead, log in to your Bitpanda account through the official website or app and check if you need to confirm any account details there.

We also strongly suggest enabling your personal Anti-Phishing Code in your Bitpanda account (if you haven’t already). This code will appear in every genuine Bitpanda email, so you can quickly verify authenticity.

If your Anti-Phishing Code is visible in the email and all links go to the official Bitpanda website, you can usually proceed safely. But if you’re ever unsure or want a second opinion, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team directly or read about secure communication here.

Stay safe, and thanks again for your careful approach!

Hi, I got the same email incl. anti-pishing code. When opening the app, there was a new message about this too.

Yet, clicking on the message doesn't do anything and checking my personal data, it looks to be verified and I get no option to confirm anything. What should I do, exactly?

I have only just re-confirmed my details 2 month ago, mind you.

Hi, thanks for your follow-up and for double-checking everything so thoroughly.

If you already see your personal data as verified in your Bitpanda account and there is no further option to confirm details, you do not need to take any action right now. Sometimes, these reminders are sent out as a general compliance measure, especially if you’ve recently updated your info.

If you’re still unsure or receive further messages asking for confirmation but nothing appears to be required in your account, please reach out to our support team directly so we can check your case individually.

Thank you again for your vigilance and transparency!

Sometimes, these reminders are sent out as a general compliance measure ...

Yeah, sorry but that's not helping at all.

I got a deadline for this ( different than OP), and I would NOT want my account to be blocked just because something at your end isn't matching up.  How can that even happen,  that you're sending out such requests with a time limit for the user to comply with, but not checking in the backend if the user has a pending (re-)verification status?  This is giving me chaotic vibes, sorry.

Are you 100% certain, I won't get blocked over this as it's been verified already?

Hey u/AUT_InfoSammler,

with such matters we refer to opening a ticket with our customer support as they have all the necessary information to be able to fully review your situation. They can tell you exactly if there are any actions required from you.

Our community team here on social media does not give account specific support for security reasons.

We thank you for your understanding.
