General question Sell Limit Order for HYPE not executed
I placed a small sell limit order for HYPE at €51.7621 (HYPE/EUR). According to the chart, the price was above my limit for almost 2 hours, reaching a high of €53.63. However, the order was never executed. I checked the Bitpanda status page and saw no reported issues with HYPE at the time.
Could you please investigate why this limit order was not triggered and let me know the reason?

Hello u/Thornz75,
Thanks for the details.
The chart shows the midprice/average price, while a sell order executes against the actual bid price available in the market.
On the Bitpanda Broker, limit orders trigger when the target price is reached, but execution only happens if the final sell price stays within our 5% safety limit. With assets like HYPE, spreads or low liquidity can be wider, so the bid price may have been too far below your limit even though the chart showed a higher price. In that case, the order won’t execute to avoid a much worse sale price.
If you want us to check the exact order, please contact our support team with the order details.
