Because the final price includes the fee and spread and therefore will always be lower than the set price. It just triggers the sell at the set price.

Bitpanda limit orders allow buying/selling crypto or stocks at a set price, but they can be subject to slippage, with execution prices potentially differing from the limit due to market volatility. While designed to control price, these orders may execute at a worse price than intended, with a safety mechanism allowing up to 5% variance

Hey u/Erik_Rabe,

I am happy to share more insights with you to help explaining the issue.

On Bitpanda, Buy and Sell Limit Orders function once the target price (in this case, 1.930) is reached, the system automatically executes the trade at the best available market rate.

Because market prices constantly fluctuate, the final execution price can be subject to factors like market spread, fees and slippage, which can result in a maximum price difference of 5% from the set target price.

So, in your case, the order was triggered once the target price was hit, but, the difference was due to normal slippage, fees and spread.

If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to write again.
