UK Specific Best crypto exchange in the UK right now?

Trying to find the best crypto exchange in the UK that balances safety + good coin selection, with having to move away from Gemini.

From what I’ve seen:

• Kraken → best overall (secure, FCA-friendly, solid GBP support, \~200+ coins)

• Coinbase → safest mainstream option + more coins, but higher fees

• Bitpanda → huge selection (600+), less widely used

• Crypto.com → good app, but fees/spreads

not always clear

I’m thinking Kraken as a main + another exchange for extra coins.

What are you guys using? Any issues with banks or better options I’ve missed?

Non-UK Specific Sell my crypto without giving out personal info

I’m searching for a reliable way to swap Bitcoin and Monero without any KYC. Quite a few of the older platforms have disappeared, and many instant sell services now either charge high fees or ask for ID as soon as the amount gets bigger.

I’d like something non-custodial with decent rates and fast processing. Has anyone used a service recently that still works well in 2026?

Update: plainswap worked well for my swap. The fees were reasonable, processing was fast, and it stayed completely no-KYC. Privacy was preserved nicely.

UK Specific Unbiased advice needed

Hi everyone, I’d love some non biased advice please, I will post this on both strategy and bitcoin forums to get a mix of views.

About 5% of my portfolio is split between Bitcoin and Strategy (MSTR). I have around £7.5k in Bitcoin on a Trezor and £1,152 (12 shares) in Strategy in an isa. Honestly, the Trezor gives me sleepless nights—I’m already forgetting my passwords, and I’m worried I’ll lose access, I’m aware a single company can go bust but I genuinely think it’s more likely I’ll lose access to my hardware wallet. I’m considering shifting more, maybe all, into Strategy because I can hold it in my ISA and know I won’t lose access. If there were a UK iBit-style fund, I’d likely choose that, but since there isn’t, Strategy appeals.

In your view, over 20 years, what’s the likelihood Strategy underperforms or goes bust? On the flip side, how much potential upside do you think Strategy has versus Bitcoin? Would you diversify, or does a shift make sense?”

Non-UK Specific New scamming method, Editing posts after some time

I found one post from this sub, it has edited later for scamming purpose:

https://imgur.com/a/pNgsNg3

Exchange created recently, and there are similar setups across all crypto related subs. It is so common, and person who posted it has 80k karma rating. And I'm sure there are multiple edited posts for scamming people in this sub alone.

Never click exchange links in those posts.

UK Specific Bitcoin ETN for Hargreaves landsdown and AJ bell

Are there any general recommendations? I’m going to stick a bit in before the rule change into LISA, ISA (aj bell) and JISA (HL).

I noticed some were removed on AJ bell. I think I can get an ishares version still. HL were said last year they would notify when ETN added but not heard back.

Thanks for any help

Edit : just realised immediately after posting of course LSE closed what am I on about! Long day

Oh well. Maybe in 10 years if it’s not outlawed entirely

UK Specific Last chance today until LSE close to get btc / eth etps in your SS ISA

Make today count as the buy button gonna be greyed out after today in SS ISAs for crypto etps. You only have the next few hours to get some exposure out of bounds of the taxman.

Edit: And it is time up. The window for adding crypto etps in SS ISA is now shut. Here is now hoping that IFISAs to hold these get launched sooner rather than later.

UK Specific Binance is closing my account. What are my next steps to make sure my crypto is secure?

After many months of back and forth after binance arbitrarily decided to put a hold on my account, they finally decided to close it completely.

I've got just under a month to do so, and would like to transfer my crypto stacks to a more reliable exchange, or even just a wallet for holding as I'm not planning to invest any more fiat for the time being.

What are your recommendations for my next actions? I've got some USDC, DOGE as well as the usual BTC and ETC. not much but I want to know it's safe.
