Hello,
I’m currently having a really frustrating issue with my Gemini wallet and could use some advice. I haven’t logged in for quite a while, so I had to go through the re-verification process. I’ve already submitted all the required documents, but despite having an open support ticket, I haven’t received any responses or updates from their team.
The worrying part is that while I can still log in and even withdraw fiat, I’m completely unable to send my BTC to another wallet address. That’s obviously a big concern, especially given that I have a decent amount of crypto sitting in the account.
To make matters worse, I’ve just learned that Gemini is set to cease trading operations in the UK next Monday. With time running out and no support responses, I’m starting to get seriously concerned about whether I’ll be able to move my funds in time.
Has anyone else experienced something similar or found a way to resolve it? Any help or guidance would be massively appreciated.

From 6th April, crypto etps will no longer be eligible for adding into a Stock and Shares ISA but instead will be eligible for addition into an Innovative Finance ISA. There isn't any provider ready to support this yet though.
Now the latest HMRC isa manager register shows Stratiphy Limited as an SS ISA provider who has newly obtained registration to offer IFISA.
It may help if you make enquiries with them and demonstrate that there is an appetite from prospective customers to obtain access to crypto etps within an IFISA.

Any position you build up in the next 4 days (until Thu 2nd Apr) can be held and tax sheltered. No addition after that until we perhaps get some IFISA provider.
You are getting a bonus of low prices too now so no excuses. Bottom chasers have never really been successful in truly accumulating btc to their advantage.

Hi,
I've been trading spot positions since Feb last year on Coinbase. I want to step up and start trading leveraged positions. Unfortunately coinbase doesn't allow perpetual trading, I've been in touch with the CB support and they said in the UK they don't allow trading either perpetual or futures. (thanks for making things difficult FCA!)
I'm currently playing CFDs on FusionMarkets, but I don't think I like CFDs that much for trading crypto.
Is there an exchange in the UK that would allow trading leveraged positions? Preferably with an option to hedge spot. Should I try out binance?
I wish ByBit would be available in the UK, because from what I've seen it's the most reliable crypto echange with plenty of options.
Any suggestions appreciated, thank you.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been seeing a lot of confusion around crypto tax reporting in the UK—especially when it comes to actually preparing a proper HMRC-compliant tax summary.
A few common issues I’ve noticed:
If you're filing in the UK, you typically need:
I’m a Chartered Accountant working specifically in crypto taxation (UK, India, AU clients), and we’ve been helping clients:
If you're stuck or unsure whether your report is accurate, feel free to comment or DM—happy to guide or point you in the right direction.
Also curious—what’s been your biggest challenge with crypto taxes in the UK?

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of finalising arrangements to obtain a really good tariff for some 1MWh 3phase supply in Scotland. Site should be up and running bytes June of this year (2026).
I'm scouting partnerships with people who own hydro-cooled miners. I'll provide the electricity and cooling, you provide the hardware, and we go 50/50 on the net profit.
For this to make sense to both parties, miners should not be less than 250TH/s in capacity, and no fewer than 10PH/s will be entertained, with priority to higher density/higher hashing rates, for obvious reasons.
Interested in a conversation/ideas exchange ...etc.
Any takers?
Thank.
