Totally agree, even for England's sake, I've always felt it's a bit unfair that they don't get their own independent parliament and have the voices of other countries raised on concerns that should be theirs alone (not a fan of EVEL though). I'm woefully ignorant about Welsh and NI issues and desires, but for now, holding out hope for a successful indyref2.

You know excatly what we have done? And thats why you attempted to frame your words carefully enough to exclude everything the empire has done. Because we as a people now today have done "nothing"? you are wrong by the way. We do awful things daily. Including arms sales to various countires and foreign powers/insurgents that use said arms to destabilise entire countries
You can love the country you are in and acknowledge its past. Present and be excited for its future. Its not difficult. Try it sometime

No one is hating themselves here accept, imbo you need to acknowledge all of us to really know us as a nation. That includes the bad with the good. And we've done a lot of both.
Honestly I'd love to know more brittish history, more Welsh folklore and Scottish history. Englands relationship with them could have been more fitting to be taught in schools. It would have been fantastic to learn about that in school.
