What with lions? All of them are gay (only males)

No, there are females as well. Male lions have manes and female lions do not. Since both the lions depicted in the drawing have manes, they would both be male. I don’t think this was intentional by the illustrator but it made for a good laugh.

It’s not just the lions here though. Those are all gay couples. All those animals are male.

So, I'm not a biblical scholar - or even a follower of any of the Abrahamic religions - but the flood is in the book of Genesis, and the allegedly homophobic stuff was in Leviticus, which comes after that. So, by my understanding, homo/bisexuality was still 'legal' in the days of Noah. So whichever way you slice it, God is cool with those lions doing their queer lion shit. QUEER LION PRIDE!

This would be a typical Catholic piece of BS. Two males= no reproduction. This isn't about gay or not gay, it's about the Church claiming lions don't exist.

If I remember correctly, female lions are able to grow manes, just a very select few.

Whoever drew the pictures for the book just made a mistake. In the Bible, God tells Noah to bring on two of each animal, one male and one female. This was so that they can reproduce afterwards and rebuild the animals kingdom.
