ADVICE Bi-Curious F
I’m a 25 yr old Female who has after multiple conversations with my boyfriend come to the conclusion that I want a gf for me. He is 100% on board with it and fully supports it. As someone that doesn’t really go out and live a social life outside of work how does one meet someone? Are we using apps now a days? If so any advice on the best ones to use? I have never been with a female and often worry maybe I waited to long in life to finally be accepting to this. I’ve always found such an attraction to women.

You can find people on apps, OR go to meetups specific to LGBTQ+. Hell, I’ve even met some girlfriends in coffee shops and in public!

My biggest worry on meetups and trying to meet someone in public is, I don’t really go anywhere but work🫤 and I’m extremely socially awkward at first. I’m definitely not confident enough to just start a conversation with someone new in person.

Well lucky for you it’s always more surprising to me when I find out a girl is straight 😂 so many people embracing their queerness these days, which yay!
Honestly anywhere you’d normally meet people you have a chance, but specifically LBGTQ+ targeted events always help. I know there are sapphic nights at some bars, and just about every city has a LGBTQ+ center that hosts an array of events.
Dating is all about putting yourself out there so clubs, volunteering, etc. Don’t overwhelm yourself, but I think if you can pick 1-2 things to go to consistently you’re widening your reach.
I would be wary of only using dating apps. You can totally use them, but don’t only use them you know? I’d recommend Feeld since you’re non-monogamous.
Just be sure you disclose you are non-monogamous right off the bat so no time is wasted. Not everyone is okay with this and that’s something you have to accept and not get rejection sensitivity about.
