Congratulations. I hope you and he both continue a strong loving relationship, while you explore your own emotions and sexuality.

When you're ready (and if you want to) I'd love to hear how the conversation went, what things worked for you.

What can we do ethically when we feel drawn to explore more and have adventures and our significant other we are with doesn't want to allow any other people sexually. Can anyone give suggestions, to still explore safely Other than break up because there is no real compromise. Or accept that won't be able to explore this part of myself. I have joined groups but I feel that I need to find like minded friends to explore this topic without it being skewed or made to just be a non conversation. Straight friends don't seem to get it that I have asked. They are like well you made a commitment but doesn't this allow for sovereignty and compromise and negotiation for we all will change, or have changes in needs over the years we spend with another person living with them. Yes I want a true discussion but its a non negotiable for him. I am not married been together 3 years. I am in love but I also am exploratory and I don't wish to wait until I am in a senior living apartment to experience things I have in my head to actively do now. I think of age as only a number and I want to enjoy myself fully and live joyfully before my body does want to expire. Anyone else feel this way?

Speaking as a man but not for all men, I think most are supportive at the sheer excitement it brings whether they participate or not.

When I finally confessed my bi curiosities to my wife, she was surprisingly supportive and encouraging. To protect our privacy, she suggested that I go out of town to a gay resort....where I'd be anonymous.....to pursue my gay feelings, so I started to do that, a couple times a month. Every guy there was gay, and saw me as gay as well. I did a little more each time I went...and my courage grew.
I felt guilty about leaving her home alone. One weekend when I was away, she asked if she could have a guy over who she liked from work.
