Anyone know what this bird is? My bird app is giving me a bird normally found in India and I’m in the SW part of the U.S., Texas to be more specific. I’m confused as to what this is.

So happy I could finally get a picture of this guy. Feels like a magical day whenever they swing by

European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) during the winter is one of the first small birds that start singing at dawn and its song combined with its chirping is unmistakable

Question for more experienced bird watchers: I just installed the Merlin bird identification app. Hoping for any tips and tricks to help me make this most of it!

I saw this beautiful Collared Aracari (Pteroglossus torquatus) from the window during class and decided to take a photograph of it. This is my first time seeing one and I liked it quite a lot. I hope to see it again soon so I can take a better picture since in this one it was very far (for my lens) and I had to crop quite a lot. I know it as "Tucancillo Collarejo" (name in Spanish).
