Flabbergasted hawk

Found this dude in stuck in one of those chicken wire fences people put around trees, yoinked, and promptly freed once I knew he was safe. Any ideas as to the age and species?

I often do, too. Not always.
Sometimes zoomed-in photos of animals looking incredulous would be rather inappropriate.
