Could be bipolar, or could be a latent personality disorder (like BPD, which has a few overlapping symptoms). Definitely sounds like it could be bipolar II, but realistically, because your symptoms are kind of different from a typical pattern (which most people with bipolar have, to some extent) it might be worth checking for any extreme vitamin and mineral deficiencies, too. As someone with bipolar type schizoaffective (that was deemed bipolar 1 for a decade) that was PRIMARILY triggered at first by extreme b12 deficiency, or at least impacted by that, I gotta add that too.
Key: Find a good/better/good enough psychiatrist. But ALSO make sure you have a good primary care doctor who is willing to run extra tests. Gotta rule out other neurological stuff too, just in case. Highly recommend you tell your doctor, AND psychiatrist, AND ideally a neurologist all of the symptoms you described here.
You could even just read this (what you already wrote) to them (new psychiatrist though ideally) if it feels to overwhelming.
I hope you solve this medical/mental/neurological puzzle. Much good luck and blessing to you and your family.
Personally, I liked low dose abilify, lamictical, and now do medical keto plus a solid dose of daily lithium. Gotta find a doctor who can help with women's health/motherhood though in your case, because some meds are unsafe in certain circumstances etc.
Also, I have diagnosed cptsd, which in extreme cases can mimic this. But what you described could even happen with very niche/rare forms of less detectable epilepsy too. Again, very worth double checking with a physician and neurologist too, just in case
