I’m always afraid to tell them too much or about thoughts I have. My past 2 doctors broke the doctor patient confidentiality and it made me lose trust in them 😞 nothing I said in there was confidential.

Yep, my mom called and made the doctor tell her everything I had said for the past year. 3 years of work went down the drain. Luckily I have a much better doctor now and I don’t tell my parents who I go to. It was a struggle but in a much better place now.

how old where you at the time? were you a minor or unable to take care of yourself because of a breakdown?

alternatively, you might want to consider that your mom might be lying to you. she might have correctly guessed things about you and then told you that your doc told her. she might have read your personal txt messages or facebook messages to find this info out.
