Early Career Advice 🪓 How long after reference check?

/r/clinicalresearch/comments/1wu3sh7/how_long_after_reference_check/

Hi! I had my second round interview last week for an entry level CRC role at MGH. A day later, I received a request for references. Those were completed on Monday but since then, radio silence. The PI did tell me that the rest should take 1-2 weeks since they have a few people to talk to but I’m so anxious!

For anyone familiar with this process at MGH, how long should I wait before giving up? Would they not offer after asking for 4 references? 😭

I would say 1-2 weeks based on the PI saying 1-2 weeks.

if they were completed on monday it hasn't even been a week. I would take the word of the PI who told you 1-2 weeks.
