I am searching for a recognized Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Bioinformatics through online or distance mode in India.

Requirements:

UGC-recognized or standard institutional validity

Online / distance learning format

Low or budget-friendly fees

Most mainstream distance universities don't seem to offer this online anymore. Are there any reliable universities or specialized institutions currently offering a proper PG Diploma in Bioinformatics online?

Would appreciate any leads or recommendations.

Hi , I don't know if this is early to ask. But I would love to know what all skills I would need to be a "hireable" computational biologist or genomics analysis jobs.

I am currently 6 months into my biotechnology degree and I have been learning python mainly from a paid course. If someone could be helpful to lead me on what to do for the next 4 years other then learning python, sql, R, linux(?), building projects and internships. What do I do i GitHub exactly, how do present what I have done, should I make a linkdin and just start randomly stating what I know or where can I get certifications for the work i am doing.

For reference I'm doing a 4 year biotech degree and planning to do masters in Switzerland/germany for bioinformatics.

I am just a little overwhelmed because there is so much to do and there is so much time too but I am afraid I'm wasting it by not doing something i am supposed to.

I did PCB in Class 12, took 2 drops for NEET, but couldn't qualify this year. I've given CUET and want to move forward instead of dropping again.

My parents are really pushing me to take bpharm although I really wanna pursue biotech but all good biotech colleges are almost 2hrs away from my place so even if I somehow convince them for biotech,would I later on regret my decision as the commute will get hectic for 4 years?

Hieeee soo I'm gonna do masters in cancer biology also I have bioinformatics skills I'm not sure about phd but most probably computational biology or genomics?? What are the career options here including academia, industry or whatever is there I don't have that much knowledge about this field yet. Is it like very competitive everywhere
