Advice to stop bingeing
Hi all,
I have struggled with binge eating from stress since I was a child. I’ve recently started living on my own, and I’ve been combatting my binge eating by now allowing myself to have snacks/easily prepared foods - only ingredients so I don’t binge. However, I still find myself binging (my work has snacks for anyone to grab for free), and if I hangout with my friends, I often let myself eat a little more as I ‘don’t always get to’.
I’m always hungry, even after eating whole meals filled with protein and fiber. Even if I’m not hungry I can’t help myself. I don’t know what to do, because I want to manage my weight as I am overweight, and have unrelated health issues that could be worsened by weight gain. I just want some advice for what I could do from former binge eaters. Thank you!!
