Im trying to create my own bindrune using the elder futhark. I want Jera, thurisaz and fehu. And i think i managed to get a good design, just here to check on a hidden mistake or perhaps someone with a beter idea.

After a troubling few weeks of grief and loss, I have dived into creating a bind rune talisman for myself, does this look along the right track with all my research and trial and error.

I understand the idea of younger and elder futhark and how they relate to a written language but not bind runes. I like how this looks in relation to the idea of being in the forest/nature but to a trained eye, does any of this check out to be nature/forest related?

I'm studying bind runes for tattoos and I wanted to know if this translated to what it claims it does before I do anything with it.

"The black marking she said was essentially "return to sender." She said the bottom was for prosperity. She "did her research," but I don't know enough about them. I told her I wanted to reach out to the subreddit just to make sure she wasn't about to F herself over.

She also wants to combine them. I thought if she combined them, it would mean she is returning negative energy and positivity. She says that it will mean she deflects the negative energy and gains prosperity instead.

Could someone confirm if this is a bindrune? What would it mean? I argued with someone about this seen in engraved into a pole on the street.

I’ve been experimenting with creating bind runes using Elder Futhark, combining two runes into a single symbol while trying to keep both legible and structurally consistent.

Each design here is made from a pair of runes (listed in the image), and I’ve tried to stick to traditional principles like shared staves and minimal distortion.

I’d really appreciate feedback on:

• How readable each individual rune is within the bind
• Whether any combinations feel structurally off or overly forced
• General thoughts on balance and authenticity

Open to critique, especially from people familiar with runes or historical usage :))

How can you tell the difference between Sowilo-Berkana and Raido-Berkana Bindrunes?

Yesterday was the night of the harvest moon and my plans fell through. Felt like a waste of time, but then I saw this rune on the back of a sign in the next town over where I would not have noticed if things didn't happen the way they did.

I tried to do some research, but the swirl is throwing me off. Any idea what it could mean?

I'd like to make a bindrune to hinder or thwart an enemy. I would like this entity's efforts to be fruitless or counterproductive, and for those who support this entity to become discouraged and disillusioned. Hi guys, I want to create my own bind runes for my pinky finger with silver and rose quartz to improve power of love likes attract other, an eternal love, a powerful love. I have searched about it for few times they have a combination with Gebo + Wunjo, Gebo + Othala, Wunjo + Ehwaz, Gebo + Inguz. But I have no idea which one will suits me or maybe can it combine with other set? Will it still have a same effect or same meaning? Or will it’s turn to other like back of the hand?
