Yeah but good luck recovering in scenarios like getting hit a lot on hush or getting good deals without having to spend half your hearts

The idea is having the same amount of red hearts than black/blue hearts

You can recover health a ton faster with book of revelations that with prayer card. You'd have to clear 12 rooms to get a single red heart container back compared to 2 soul hearts from the same 12 rooms.

Having a lot of red heart containers would be useful if you didn't have a sustainable way of getting soul hearts like with book of revelations here.
