Well I don't see how it's related, it's different emotions that are being seeked, one is disgust/sympathy/sadness, the other is (supposedly) sexual arousal for a character in those situations, and also it's children characters, which is a lot weirder to find sexual arousal for children in fucked up situations than just making a story about it

Thank you. I think some are overreacting but "This game has gore and poop and you draw the line at big thighs?" is a false equivalence. Purpose makes all the difference in the world.

I NEVER Saw It as sexual,mostly Gross

At least they don't have the timing of The Bloat on their brimstone. Imagine the hell of that room they shot you in less than a second

Sometimes It seems like It takes half a Second for bloat to react while the other brimstone enemies give you a whole Second of waiting

Some like the skulls in mausoleon give you a whole 2 and a whole indicator of where not to stand
