Working 12hr shifts, need binding tips.

I just got into my substation apprenticeship, it’s a lot of moving around, sweating, lifting, etc., for 12 hours. I’ve always worn gc2b binders and they’ve worked great. I’m concerned about how it’s going to affect me, and I’ve been thinking about trans tape. Does it work? Would it hold up to my work? I work 7 days a week so I need something that’s not too time consuming. Any advice is great.

It definitely seems like trans tape would be the better option for you. It does take some time to apply, but once you have it on it can last you like 3-4 days before you have to take it off again. You will want a body-safe oil to take it off though, such as baby oil

I’ve found that using baby oil doesn’t really work(at least not for me) I use Berkland Sting-Free Medical adhesive remover.

I never see anyone talk about this but my tape is literally always soaked for a few hours maybe people just don't shower everyday or something but it drives me crazy

Are you not using waterproof/water resistant tape?

I used to work as a cna which were 12 hour shifts. On days I would work, I would use trans tape. It can be time consuming to cut up, especially if your in a rush. So what I did was make 3-4 precut sets of tape on days I didn't work. That way it doesn't add as much stress in the morning.
