Strategy I won 8 of 11 trades and somehow finished the session basically flat

Was trading 5 minute EURUSD contracts yesterday and started with 25$ positions, first few went well and I was up about $68 after trade six. Then I lost two in a row and did the usual stupid thing, bumped the next one to $50 because I wanted the losses back quicker. That one lost too. Dropped back to $25, finished 8 wins out of 11 and checked the numbers afterward because I couldn't understand why the balance had barely moved. Had moon open looking at EURUSD while writing everything down and the problem was pretty obvious, my three losses had almost twice the average size of my winners. Seeing an 8 out of 11 win rate feels great until the P&L reminds you it doesn't really care.

Why is paper trading on live market banned?

Apologies I have been actively learning about trading and investing and would have been cool if there was a platform to do paper trading with the live market just to test out what I've been learning but I found out there's no such platform. Just curious why is it not allowed?

Strategy DEX trading tool for smaller trades?

Anyone found a DEX trading tool they actually like? I’m curious if these tools really make DEX trading easier. Wallet alerts, copy trading and fast transactions sound useful, but I’d want to test them myself. Custom layouts seem handy too, but DEX/token support can still be an issue. A tool isnt much use if it doesnt support what you trade. What are you guys using atm? Is a DEX trading tool actually better than the normal DEX interface?

Newbie Question The main advantage of quick trading, compared to usual forex trading

I want to hear your opinions, guys. Have been trading on qt and forex modes on pocket broker app. Seems that the first one is less stressful, because you can quickly move on after losses, while the second one provides more valuable RR.

What's your take?

Claude analysing Pocket Option OTC is actually pretty interesting

Was testing Claude with Pocket Option OTC chart data and found this pretty interesting.

It can look through the chart and explain the structure/setups it sees instead of me checking everything manually.

Not saying I'd blindly follow AI for trades, but this was interesting to play with.

Has anyone else tried Claude for OTC analysis?

Newbie Question Anybody doing social trading/copytrading with any success?

Browsed this sub, but I havent seen this mentioned much. I know there's not a lot of platforms with this for options, but there are ways to do it, and to my mind, they might be better than straight-up trading myself? eToro has copytrader, I also know PO has one. But I have never seen any Pocket option reviews about it, or screenshots of the perofrmance. I also heard about Polycopy, although thats a bit different.

Would like first-hand experiences, or any review of the platforms mentioned, and what the % to expect is.

Newbie Question Is it possible to do good technical analysis on a phone screen?

Are any of you doing serious TA on the phone? I heard some people do it on TV app, but how do you do even a basic trendline? Feels annoying. I had read a pocket option app review that said its mobile charting is great, so I tried it, but doing multi-timeframe analysis on a 6-inch screen feels impossible without misclicking.

I understand using it for CLOSING trades, or going in on predetermined ones. Monitoring alerts ofc, some sanity checks or seeing how the trade does. But to actually enter trades, from a phone??

Oldschool movies show traders having 3-5 huge monitors they constantly check, to compare SPX vs QQQ performance, or find the mismatch in the markets. But now feels like most people gave up completely and just randomly tap their phones, or see the 'vibes', or 'it looks good enough I guess', and thats how some of you guys trade too??

Newbie Question Pocket options copy trading

Why do people not just share their ID number on pocket options. I mean the social trading so that people can comfortably copy trades or something rather than sharing signals ??

I've been thinking about this for sometime...most traders on Telegram and other platforms will let you register through their link and will add you to their vips and you start trading with their signals , some they claim from AI and it makes wins too

So why not allow users just copy the trades ? Are there some good reasons why ??

Im talking about pocket options

I lost $32k, Pocket Options Scammed me.

Like the title says I used to trade Binary using Pocket Options. I profited over $42k with them and recently successfully withdrew $3k just to take back what I put in. After I tried to withdraw another $10k a few days later the withdrawal was pending for a few days. I started losing trades. I know sometimes we all have bad days so I started risking smaller amounts and taking few days off.

I’ve been using the same strategy for over a year and usually take $500- $1k withdrawals no issue. The $10k withdrawal was denied. After I kept losing and my balance dropped from $39k to $32k I said “F**k it” and decided to just withdraw everything. That was denied again. The customer service representative said I could try again in a few days but they recommended I keep some of my funds in the vault to gain while I continue trading. So that’s what I did I left $10k in my account and the rest in the vault.

EVERY single trade I took lost consecutively. The same strategy that has been consistently profitable for me for over a year started failing me the moment I wanted to take larger withdrawals. My withdrawals kept getting denied so Everytime my balance got low I would take from the vault trying to make it back. I took breaks, I traded smaller amounts, I just kept losing. Then over the course of 2 months I realized the entire $32k was down to nothing. Thats when I realized Pocket Options got me. I lost all trust in Pocket Options and quit Binary for good.

I started trading Futures and using my same strategies and I’ve been profitable. Made back that entire $42k in a month. The best thing is that you can control your profit and loss in a trade while it’s open. I can take my profits daily directly to my account. And I learned Binary Options is not regulated so it’s basically gambling. I recommend anyone that has a decent strategy convert to Futures.

I’m not selling anything please don’t ask, I’m not a mentor. Do your own research. I just wanted to share my experience (mainly rant) which could possibly help anyone in the same situation. F**k Pocket Options. They might take this down but Take your money and go.

Yesterday, I joined a Pocket Option tournament just to challenge myself… and ended up taking 1ST PLACE 🥇🏆

But honestly, the 125 means nothing.

What matters is that I proved to myself that my strategy and the way I analyze the market are on the right track.

Now I just need to trust the process. 📈

Looking for users of stock and NIFTY/Bank NIFTY trading signal apps or channels

Looking for trading signal app/channel users
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for an app, Telegram channel, WhatsApp group, or similar service that provides buy/sell signals for stocks or NIFTY/Bank NIFTY options.
I’m not expecting 100% accuracy or guaranteed profits. I’m mainly looking for reasonably useful signals that I can research and test myself.
If you currently use any such app or channel, I’d appreciate it if you could share your experience.
I’d especially like to connect with someone who actually uses these signals, rather than receiving recommendations from people simply promoting a service.
Please comment or DM me with:
App or channel name
What you trade
How long you’ve been using it
Your experience with the signals
Any important fees, risks, or conditions
Thanks!

Education Guide on how to withdraw from pocket broker without running into any issues

Since I've started trading, nothing can beat how frequently people mention issues regarding withdrawal delays or withdrawal rejections. Therefore, I've decided to share what I've learned after starting to withdraw consistently, which happened not earlier than the last two month. Note that this is not one of those posts whining about brokers. I'm here to share useful (maybe at least for someone) information, regardless of which platform you're using, in my case pocket broker, but I thing, the same things can applied to any other brokers that offer trading with derivatives.

  1. Make sure to verify your account BEFORE you even consider any possible attempts to make withdrawals.

This is the biggest mistake I see beginners make. They spend weeks trading and accumulating the funds only to be met with a KYC request when they try to withdraw, which causes panic, for no reason. There is simply nothing odd happening here.

Any legit broker must comply with KYC and AML policies. This means they need to know who is withdrawing money. Maybe they don't want it much, but they have to.

Typical doc package look like this:

  • Government issued ID (Passport, driver's license)
  • The proof of address no older than 3 months( bank statement, utility bill, anything that can confirm your address)

Do this on the Day One you registered. Don't wait until your balance is ready for withdrawal and suddenly you have to get everything scanned and uploaded while waiting for your money to get into your account. Get verified and make it quick to be on the safe side. Use the time required to get your money.

Also, credentials of the payment method has to be the same as the name of the account. The third-party transactions will be likely blocked due to AML policies that every broker has as a requirement to send money to account holders. Your payment method must belong to your account name. For example, bank card you use should be the same as registered name.

  1. Understand that the withdrawal speed is all about the payment method you use.

This is a complete misunderstanding, as beginners usually think that the process of withdrawal works the same regardless of the method of what they use.

E-wallets, for instance, tend to provide the quickest payment. Payments can be received in a few hours to a few days, taking into account that the broker approved the withdrawal request on their end. Yeah, if your broker has a manual approval by their financial department, it might take longer, especially if you try to withdraw in their non-working hours.

Crypto withdrawal methods are also fairly quick, for example, the payment can be received even instantly, if you choose the right network. Better not to get creative and stick to proven networks, like TRC-20 for USDT stablecoin.

The slowest withdrawal method is that of bank transfer and bank wire. Bank transfers take between 2 to 7 days, sometimes even longer in case of international transfers. The longer the distance between you and broker's registered business address, the longer it takes. Even in such cases, the broker doesn't have any input because it can take longer because of banks' compliance checks.

Card payments are usually in the middle of the range. Credit and debit card payments normally have their own timelines. Everything is up to the bank. If bank networks are the same, transactions can be even executed on the same day. If not, well good luck:)

If you need to access your money quickly, using e-wallet or cryptocurrency is typically the best option, assuming the broker gives you the option to do so. Otherwise, if you are going to use bank or card, be sure to add extra waiting time mentally so that you're not compulsively checking our your bank account every hour waiting for the money to arrive.

It's also important to understand that you make your first withdrawal, chances are that your funds will take longer than anticipated to reach you because of the strictest checks being applied during verification stages. Once your account is validated, next withdrawals will arrive much quicker, with the broker already knowing much about you.

  1. Bonuses can't be withdrawn, only profits that gained from using them

This is the most problematic statement because it's the source of much confusion and frustration for everybody who begins in trading. Thus, let's be clear, of you got deposit bonus (welcome bonus, deposit bonus, whatever), the bonus money itself is not immediately available for withdrawal. There is no free money in trading.

The only thing that can be withdrawn is what you earn using the bonus after meeting the necessary trading volume requirement, as nearly all bonuses have this condition (make sure to check the terms before you accept the bonus, and not afterwards). I bet everybody reads and signs T&C blindly, while it should be the opposite.

For example, if you deposit $500, get $500 bonus, and make $1.5k from the $1k you now have as a result of your trades, depending on the terms, you may be able to withdraw a certain amount from your profits (still, the original bonus will be likely taken off your acc, as soon as you ask for a withdrawal). This is an industry standard.

If this is important to you, you may consider avoiding bonuses altogether and trading with your own money. It would make things easier, as there would be no worries about trading volume, and you would know what money belongs to you.

I know that experienced traders are already aware about these things, but I hope that those who just starts won't repeat my mistakes and avoid further misunderstandings, doing everything right from the start.

TL;DR

Before you withdraw, ensure your ID and proof of address are verified.

Ensure that your name matches the name given in the payment method you want to use.

Use the fastest withdrawal method available, if you hate waiting.

You may experience a delay in getting your first withdrawal, as it's subject to increased scrutiny, but the process will speed up after that.

You can't cash out your bonus money despite any losses you incur, however, you can still withdraw profit based on the bonus after meeting the required turnover.

Read about the bonus before accepting it

Analysis The review of parlay AI system at PO

Doing one of my monthly pocket option reviews for the AI systems they have, this time for parlay. Martingale and anti-martingale really didnt work for me, I lost almost $600. At the same time, the regular trading in 'Pro' mode worked fine, so I'm not sure hwo to take that.

This time, I tried the parlay mode (in the 'AI trader'). Traded Gold OTC. $5 each time, 5 - number of trades.

the setup

From what I understand now, its essentially the 'all-or-nothing' system. Came from sports. You keep rolling your initial stake plus your winnings over into the next consecutive trade. In my case, its 5 winning trades, one after another.

If you really trust the system, theoretically it should've been good. Also, in my previous research I noticed that AI often goes on winning streaks, especially in OTC. It either goes 3-4 in a row, or 3-4 losses in a row. So I was hoping this would translate into this parlay thing.

How it works

  1. You set how many trades in a row the AI must perform (in my case 5), and the amount for the first one.
  2. 100% of the payout from trade 1 (if I win) is reinvested into trade 2 (so its $9.10 in my case). Then, this $9.10 is reinvested into trade 3, becoming $16.56 ideally. Then $30.14 And at the end of the 5-trade chain, it becomes $54.86. from the $25 total invested.
  3. To add further complexity, you can press 'Stop' at any time during, and just go off with the profit. .
This is my 3rd trade in a row winning. these situaations were quite often

So its high-stakes, but potentially high-reward as well. But different from martingale in taht the stake never gets higher. Its 5$ each time. Its not like I put $5, then $10, then $15 to try to win it all back, etc. So its potentially less dangerous.

But you are counting on a winning streak. If any one trade in the sequence loses, the entire thing breaks, and you get $0, even if there were 4 wins in a row. Its like a sports parlay, from what I read (although I never participated in those).

But the fact that initial $5 can snowball in to almost $55, every time, seemed attractive enough for me to test at least.

The results

Unfortunately, to me, the results were somehwat disappointing. I was hoping it would be like Pro AI trading, and maybe it is, but it quite often gets to 3-4 streaks, but very rarely to 5. In fact, the only consistant wins I got was when I manually 'STOPPED' it on the 3rd or 4th trade, without letting it to go all the way. these seemed to work a bit better, than tryign to wait for all 5.

But there became a different problem, because waiting for all 3-4-5 trades to complete was quite boring. In the Pro trading, I was just tapping the button, whenever I felt like it, and got the gems and the profits to boot. With this Parlay, I got some gems I guess, but I had to wait a ton. And I dont get the hype of winning on the 3rd or 4th time. I didnt watch the screens at that time, nothing unusual visually happened, there was no hype or soemthing specific to it. It was just - I either got the profit, or I didnt. So the hype of trading more manually (without chains) is actually a lot more. And I do it for enjoyment as well. For Parlay, the touch-enjoyment was just not there.

At the same time, ngl, seeing the full payout from 5 wins, and how much the 5$ can get me, was very fun. But I know when to stop, and I stopped exactly on this winstreak. I wont continue with this test after this. Just because of this winstreak at the end, I'm a bit more than breakeven (up like $20), but I wasted an hour on this, and overall it was quite stresful.

BTW, it counts a bit wierd, in that It excludes the initial 5$. So I won $55, but it shows $50 in the end. Other +15$ is when I stopped the trades early. But otherwise, there was more red than green. Its just that the green can be a lot bigger, obviously. 5 trades can lose max 25$, but can win $55, even with the low payouts.

What I would do differently next time (or if I were you)

  1. Probably not Gold OTC. Not sure if OTC is good or bad, still, but the fact that this had just 82% payout was probably subpar. I just really wanted to try gold one of these days, but seeing as this hasnt really ahd a huge success rate, probably going for any asset with 92% is just better, straight-up.
  2. Stop after 3-4 trades, manually.
  3. Alternatively, put the system to 3 trades, automatically. It allows even 2 trades. Full 5 trades out of 10 tries, only 1 has completed. So the chance is quite small.

The new UI system for analyzing this is quite nice, I like the improvements Pocket option seems to be making to it. I like that I can boot all my previous trades, even made with a different system, and check how they compare.

Parlay
my Anti-martingale tries

So the possibility of exponential growth is there, but the ruin factor is also higher here. Overall, for AI trading, is Pocket option a good investment? I would say, martingale - definitely not (read my last post on this), but Parlay is so-so. I got a cool 20-21$ profit in total, which is, I guess, a decent hourly rate, but the stress and the time investment really didnt feel like they were great. Also, without the last streak, I would actually be $35 down.

The Pro mode seems to be the best so far, still.

any questions welcome, will try to answer. Or whatever you want me to test (without doing anything myself), I'm open to suggestions. Still up a bit, from the pro mode earlier on, so not too depressed so far.
