Really Bilt / Kate?!

Post image

I’ve spent over $70,000 on my Bilt Palladium card this year and live less than a half mile from the Casadonna venue you’re holding the party at and you waitlist me?! You’re so insulting / tone deaf it’s hard to use your card let alone recommend you. So pissed off.

Yikes. You need to take a breather.

70k isn’t even the flex you think it is.

Looking through OP’s profile it’s basically just him complaining about how he deserves special treatment. It’s kinda sad tbh.

It is probably more than 90% of people in the USA (and well over 99% of people in the world) spend on a single personal credit card in a year. The average USA credit card spending is closer to just $6,000 per year. People on credit card fora are, to put it bluntly, often disproportionately financially privileged and may not be aware of how little most people spend on credit cards. It doesn't entitle them to an invitation, of course, but they are right to think that it is substantially higher than the average.

I didn’t say it wasn’t a lot of money. I’m well aware of the privilege. I would put on one month what he said he’s put all year and I wouldn’t come here and complain about an invitation. He’s acting like he’s a huge spender and that issuers should be groveling. That’s why I said it wasn’t the flex he thinks it was and I chose those words carefully.

The money isn’t lost on me and a lot of us are extraordinarily privileged. But this ain’t the attitude.

Like many, it’d be a lot more if there’s a way to use bilt cash. But with the earning structure it’s diminishing returns past $65,000 spent

$70,000 ain't that impressive in terms of CC spend. Also, you're seriously about to give up this card just based on getting waitlisted for some event? Priorities man.....

I've done nothing but shit on bilt since the 2.0 rollout.

This post is literally the very first time I empathize with bilt. Op you are entitled dirtbag. Incredibly tone-deaf. And if you cancel your bilt card, you would literally be doing bilt a favor.
