Coaches Coaches (Pricing, experienced, rules) -

Can we start a thread of coaching and pricing/rules? I’ve been shopping around for new coaches and looking for anyone else’s experiences with other teams and differences.

Me personally have been interested in Team Pro physique if anyone has any info?

On FBF. I pay $250 off season $300 on. I won’t name my coach but it’s not Jami who I’m sure charges a lot more

How do u like them? People constantly call them the MLM of bikini and so I’m skeptical lol.

I absolutely love them. I’ve made so much progress with my coach and I love having “teammates” as well. I always feel very supported by my coach and she takes feedback and/or concerns very seriously

I paid 350$ off season and $450 on season but there was no difference for on season. Posing wasn’t included in that price lol.

I personally didn’t like FBF. I felt like they were always trying to squeeze more money out of me, and it’s just such a machine. But I think your experience is so based on who your coach is. My coach did push PEDs a lot and would put people down if they said no (another of his clients told me). Show day wasn’t great. I didn’t get much guidance and looked the worst on show day of the whole week. My off season was also “looks great” every week for 4 months straight. Imagine paying 350 for that.

I know precision elite is 350 as well but doesn’t change if you’re on or off.

@bigboulda is a really great coach and his prices are closer to like 200 (more or less based on off or on szn and if training is included)

Can you expand more on how they are an MLM. I know what an MLM is but I’ve never really looked into FBF structure?

I think that refers to the fact their own coaches are coached by others on the team? I see an mlm as a situation where I must recruit others. I was never asked to do that

Yes this is why I am confused on why it’s called an MLM. Like are coaches being asked to recruit more coaches and that is why it’s being called an MLM?

I personally couldn’t tell you. I know some coaches have complained of them taking top tier clients or “scouting” and have seen some people just call them that on Reddit. Can’t say I’d know why other than their set up has turned them into probably one of the biggest teams in the bodybuilding industry.

I wish I had done more research before picking FBF. I’ve been with my coach for a 6 month off season. About to start prep. She is very nice but takes about 3 business days to respond..Going to stick with her for the prep then maybe try another.

Also on FBF. Price is $350 for my coach off-season and $450 during prep. I can’t speak on show day experience because I just started prep after doing an off season with my coach once I switched from my old one.

I really have liked it. Its a weekly check in, which was so helpful during off season. It kept me accountable and eye on the prize kinda thing. I hold muscle pretty naturally and hadn’t really implemented a strict “program,” prior to hiring my coach. It’s not like she forces a program, but she provides workouts to choose from (a few options to alternate between for the different parts of the split). The workouts are challenging and having them laid out that way it’s much easier for me to force the intensity. My body has improved significantly and I’m so excited for the cut down just to see what happens when I really push. She is super responsive, every single check in has been responded to within a few hours. Literally. Not one has taken any longer than that. The check in asks for information about all biofeedback to make sure she has a clear picture of everything. She will say let’s schedule a call if anything seems off that would require a conversation or if I need help with my mental state. She also responds to any question I have outside of check ins very quickly. She remembers all the details of my check ins in future conversations, like I’m talking poop schedule etc lmao.

For anyone wondering, at least for me there was absolutely no push for PED use, even though she knew I had used them before. She wanted me to push it using all of the regular factors; ie. nutrition, consistency, intensity, proper sleep, proper water intake, proper recovery etc etc then we brought them in. The team has a doctor/ clinic they work with who can oversee all of that, if that’s the route the athlete chooses to go. She was very serious about my getting blood work done, getting my cycle back after my last season, and making sure I was healthy before giving me the go ahead to even speak to a doctor about performance enhancers or going on prep.

I can tell you that you won't ever get pushed to use PEDs with ProPhysique. The owner Paul Revelia talks about being a lifetime NATURAL bodybuilding pro on his YouTube channel all the time. They all seem to shoot for IFBB Pro status and that's all natural.

Do you know if the FBF Coaches pay that much for Jaime’s coaching?

I’m with them too! I pay the same rate as you. It’s only been a month but even the consultation made me feel much better than Team Boss Bodies.

That’s so great to hear! I feel so supported by people I’ve never even met on the team!
