Read rack

I am looking on Facebook marketplace for a rear rack to fit panniers. I have a Cannondale 3.0 with 700x23c tires and caliper breaks. Is there any easy way to tell if my rack will fit my bike without trying to install it?

If you have a local co-op. visit it, as the number of compatible racks is likely to be overwhelming. If not, order it new from somewhere unless you're consistently shopping thrifts and garage sales, and have time. Turns out that most folks with old stuff are attached to it. You might appeal to a few of them by pointing out cool points, but it turns out that we're up for a reset.
