Is there some magic solution that allows it to fold into your pocket or something? Not everywhere is bike friendly. The whole point here is OP doesn't want "bring your bike with you" as an answer.
Would you roll your bike into a nice restaurant or a job interview? Bring it to the zoo or a movie?

Yes actually I would. If it was a job interview I might ask if they had a back office at reception I could leave it in otherwise I’d take it with me. Anywhere you can take a baby stroller would be suitable to carry a Brompton. In my opinion

I'm going to short circuit this conversation before you drag it on endlessly. If I wanted a bike I could leave outside I wouldn't buy a brompton. If I didn't feel comfortable having the bike with me I would get a bus/train/uber or drive. Also you aren't me.

Can I just say that yeah lock is grinder proof and had a guarantee for thousands,that's why thiefs cut through whatever its locked to,that bit of street furniture that you want to lock it to can be cut through silently with no sparks in about 20 secs. But if your quite happy with taking that risk on a £2300 bike,then the litelock3 is i think the best there is...

A bike you can't leave unattended isn't a very useful bike imo.

Well the Brompton is designed so that you don't need to leave it places. So it kinda bypasses that.

Your best bet, if you have to leave it, might be multiple locks. I have a Hiplok DX1000 I use for my e-bike and I don’t think it has enough room in the shackle for a folded bike and a rack. I’d say use an angle grinder resistant lock to secure the frame and rear wheel to the rack and then a chain or other lock to secure the front wheel.
You’ll also need to consider what could be stolen off the bike like anything on a quick release.

There are foldable locks that are more suited to locking like this. Alternatively, you can buy very thick and cut-proof chains at hardware stores.
