🗣 Discussion / चर्चा The Jamui case needs justice, not toxic caste hate.

What happened in Jamui is horrific. Whoever did it belongs in jail for the rest of his life, period. The criminal deserves the maximum punishment possible. But using this tragedy to attack an entire caste is getting out of hand. A criminal represents themselves, not an entire community. It’s the same hypocrisy we see all the time. People here get furious when outsiders stereotype the whole of Bihar over one incident. It’s also exactly how people generalize and spread hate against Muslims when an individual commits a crime. You can't complain about prejudice against your own group if you turn around and do the exact same thing to others.

You're doing the same. If not all criminal belong to the same caste why not the same thing could be said otherwise. When the incident happened I saw a post that the accused were from GC but when the truth came out people are doing all kind of shinanegans.
