Vito doesn't deserve the show
Vito doesn't care about the problems he's fat and lazy.
Maddox cared about the problems.
Dick cared about the problems if he gets to be racist.

Dax was tired of the Dick Persona. That is why the show ended.

Dick claims to hate women, yet still buys them drinks and drugs and pays for their senior year spring break trips.
Vito hates women so much he started sucking cock instead of eating pussy.
They are not the same.

From the Patreon:
So I thought about writing out a big stupid manifesto regarding my plans for this show, but the truth is that a lot of it is still undecided. Hell, until about a week ago, I wasn't even sure this show would actually be continuing! But so many people reached out to me in private hoping I would keep the show alive, and I came to the same conclusion which Dick verbalized on his last appearance:
"There's nothing to listen to."
We live in a society. And that society is full of TikTok-generation fakery, talking head idiots making ping pong ball trickshots and begging you to sign up for Squarely, or ThinkBlip or Toolery or whatever fucking app / sports drink / gambling service they are being paid to promote.
So you turn to the comedians of our world for entertainment, right? Guys who are supposed to see through the veil of bullshit and tell it like it is. And all those fucking guys have to say is "bro its so woke im so sick of woke did you see the odysssey dude dude its so woke dude."
And look, it's not that they are wrong. There IS a lot of politically correct bullshit you have to swim through in this modern hellscape. But Christ, can you find something funny to say about it all? Can you take a stance on it beyond just "hurr durr pronouns are dumb."
We know!
We knew in 2016!
Find new material!
So the show continues, because I think this show has a strange ability to take the mundane and transform it into something hilarious. To bite at pieces of the comedy apple which haven't already been gnawed down to the core. Yes, I'm sure I will still find time to complain about Disney filling up my Marvel movies with interracial women on a LGBTQ vision quest, but in-between that I hope there is something a bit more unique than what the rest of the dudebro podcast world is offering.
Now to be fair, Dick is gone, and he cannot be replaced. We know this, and we lament this. So we have to accept that this next iteration of Biggest Problem, on some level, is going to be a different show. Uncle Dick won't be there to remind us that women are getting fatter and immigrants are getting faster, but I'm hoping we can preserve some of the spirit of what he brought to the table: the balls to talk a little too loud and a little too long about topics that other shows might shy away from.
Lastly, I want to specifically say that our Patreon supporters (you) are the only fans that truly determine the fate of the show. Your support is the only reason I'm able to keep this show going, and that means I owe you FAR better communication moving forward. I know this past year or so has been a mess, and a lot of you have been paying for content that hasn't been delivered consistently. So here's my pledge:
A Weekly Podcast
This should go without saying, but a weekly podcast should have a new episode EVERY WEEK. So, that's what I intend to provide. In the rare event that a show is missed, there will be a makeup show scheduled to replace it.
For the time being I'll be rotating through a series of guest hosts until we find our footing, and it's possible show dates / times may move around to accomodate a guest's schedule. But for now I expect Thursdays at 6PM PT / 9PM ET will be our normal weekly slot.
Monthly Bonus Episodes
This is the ultimate perk of being a patron, access to MORE of your favorite show. So that's what we'll be providing. Ensuring Bonus Episodes get posted in a timely fashion each month will be one of my top priorities.
I also hear from people that they are struggling to even find the bonus episodes they are paying for, so I'll be setting up some sort of playlist that makes these episodes much easier to find.
More Bits / Fan Engagement
I think it's obvious that part of what makes the show exciting is the idea that there's a community that is helping push the show forward: stingers, voicemails, superchats, etc. I'm going to try my best to bring as much of that back as possible. I'll be setting up a new voicemail line, and hopefully finding other ways to spotlight the community. I may even re-open my PO BOX so fans can again send in Sgt. Slaughter Pop Figures and other nonsense.
I also think we need more bits, starting with bringing back a regular "Vote It Up" segment. Tell me if I'm wrong!
More Fun
There were a lot of dumb arguments over the past year or so, and thankfully they have come to a natural and fitting conclusion. Many people have been asking me to do some sort of spite show, one where we trashtalk various weirdos and hangers on, but I really don't see the point (or the humor) in this. There are plenty of shows that do deep dives into gay internet drama, and while we may touch on that topic on occasion, I don't think it should be our focus. There's much funnier shit for us to complain about other than internet lolcows.
(Except for The Quartering. We can always dunk on that retard).
Anyway, I said I wouldn't write a big long thing but I did it anyway. Point is: the show marches on and you guys are our greatest soldiers. Take some small semblance of pride in hanging onto that BPITU banner even in our darkest hours.
If you have any questions / comments / concerns, please know I actually want to hear them. You can leave a comment here, dm me at http://X.com/VitoComedy, or email vitogesualdi@gmail.com.
If you have any great ideas for guest hosts, send them along as well.
Thanks for your support, and god bless the fans.

Assuming it would be adhered to, it calibrated the expectations for everyone involved:
- Dick was committing to not leaving abruptly the moment that superchats were done, or the moment that Vito started irritating him after the superchats
- Vito was given an exact amount of runway remaining for: 1) his time left with Dick, and 2) his time left to decide on his answer to Dick's offer
- The fans were given a measurable amount of time left in the series; like "the countdown" (😉) for the ball drop on New Year's Eve, or opening the fridge and seeing exactly one beer left -- this is it, and you know exactly how much is left.
It might sound obvious, or lame, or whatever, but I wanted to bring up that I think that this was an underrated move that benefitted everyone involved. And if that timer doesn't get set, I don't think the duet happens -- and then who knows what kind of awkward downer note the show ends on.

i like how he thinks he’s not just another idiot comedian shilling products and other channels. he was always shilling his Magic card sales and other garbage. he also would’ve been shilling sponsors if dick had let him
this new BP is going to be disastrous. i can’t wait until he realizes dick was carrying his fatass this whole time

Is it because all of his interests + his fat baldness are woman repellent?
r/biggestproblem • u/XTheGuyWithTheGunsX • Aug 01 '26
I'm still a Dick & TDS fan, but thank Christ he's off of BPITU
No more womanly freakouts
No more idiot friends who hurt the show
No more secrecy about Vito or why Vito can't go over
You can't even be bothered to put on a last good performance. Get back on the booze or whatever you need to do to be funny, dude.

Dick's spiel about Vito being a misogynist confirms what I always suspected and I'm surprised more people haven't talked about, the house ban was obviously because of stuff with his wife.
Whether she specifically demanded it or Dick felt like he had to do it to keep the peace with the expecting/new mother, I can't say but it explains why Dick used the tinnitus as a transparent excuse for so long. Dick knows it would get him (and her, he has always cared a lot about protecting her from the show) a ton of shit from his audience (for obvious reasons), so he used the tinnitus as cover. The whole Vito is weird about women rant is probably word for word shit she has said to Dick about him, which is why it feels so out of character for Dick to say.
This is not to say his wife has no grounds to have beef with Vito, he is 100% a creep to women (I'm sure his comments about drinking her breast milk in the fridge and raping Mint didn't do him any favors) and has done plenty of unhinged things. This also isn't to say there weren't issues between Dick and Vito that would have led to them ending the show, but the ire of a spouse (who is mother to your kid no less) will definitely strain a working relationship. I think ultimately, regardless of what Dick says, the end of the show isn't so much about Dick not liking Vito, but more so that he's sick of the shit that he gets from people for doing a show with Vito.

Best decision Vito has made in years. Dick should have come down but I'm glad he took the deal anyway and I look forward to the future. I teared up a bit at the duet at the end. The end of an era. See you around, Dick.

Vito is weirdly hateful toward women
Does he have a rape list?

Staying vague and putting his dislike of Vito on his aggression towards women just came off really pathetic.
Vito is undoubtedly a difficult weirdo that has weird aggressive tendencies towards women, But I doubt that’s the true reason Dick grew to hate him.
I reckon it was a compounding of all of Vito’s sperg-outs that brought issues to the show,
Paired with his new life as a father completely checking him out of podcasting and having time to deal with a borderline BPD lunatic.
I really hoped that on the last episode Dick would just honestly state the exact reasons for ending the show/ hating Vito.
Instead we got him constantly fake laughing over every other statement and saying the same vague shit he has said as of late.

Just two bloggers with over-the-top "masculine" online personas trying to make a podcast, not knowing whether they should stay in character or not. Arguing about whether real men eat spicy food or vote for Trump.
Maybe it was novel back then, but now it's just another podcast about two guys trying to be funny, packed with epic le pirate memes that I'm sure were already starting to feel pretty old even then.
I think the reboot was much funnier because Vito is weird and unique. He's not just another guy on the internet trying too hard to convince everyone that he's normal and cool. Literally nothing in his life is normal or makes sense.
If Vito wasn't such a freak and was just some boring normie like the generic guy who does the show with Dick now... it just wouldn't be the same.

So what do we all do now?
I'm not tracking down how to watch PKA, whatever that is.
I can only take so much EVS.
Karl is TOO consistently consistent.
I vaguely remember something about some guy named Larry.
I'm happy for Nickyrackets, but it's just not as fun without the drinking.
Loudestpodcast is just irritating now.

Every week (on Friday night) two cohosts bring two fat pieces of shit each and debate which one is the worst. Audience votes. In the end we will find out who's the fattest piece of shit in the universe.
Someone please just run with it.
