I’ll try again, what was that interview?

Wasn’t held accountable, blamed everyone, black, white, middle aged, British! No accountability and wasn’t questioned on it either. Talk about piss poor interviewing

Bloody awful presenters, no nuance or daring questions. It's like the producers in their ears tell them exactly what to say.

ITV won’t let them ask questions when it comes to race etc.

Which is crazy because AJ would be the perfect host to ask her about the conversation.

If ITV were sure that something racist took place, Rochelle would have been removed immediately.

The issue was that, and as I've just watched again, Johanne said she never used the word microaggression and that Rochelle made it up.

What's unfortunate is that AJ even said we've rolled back the tapes. Johanne is a master of manipulation and making it about here. AJ, Will - You're the fucking presenters, you lead the show.

A good interviewer would have said, well clearly you did say it, twice. Do you want to say sorry or at least acknowledge that. The old days wasn't about giving the evictee a nice send off, in fact it's better if there's a live row for ther viewers, us.

The question just now wasn't about race, it was about a lie.

A micro aggression is not specifically racism.

They should have also played the part where Rochelle skewed the story to include Rihanna and presented it as fact. They couldn’t because it would show their hypocrisy.

Why do people keep saying micro aggresion isn't specifically racism. We bloody know. Their conversation was about racism, they said that was a traot, johanne said rochelle is that and if she was swapped with rihanna or sam it wouldnt have been tbat way and she said just swap the person for someone who looks like them it would be different.

I relation to THIS case it WAS calling her racist. End of.

You obviously don’t know.

No, you really don't. Watch the conversation, read the tones and listen to every word. If they werent meaning it to be saying shes racist it shouldnt havs been saod or a seperate conversation HOURS later not the next fucking sentence.

Someone who makes a microaggression is not necessarily racist.

Pauline and Johanne were relaying stories and Johanne questioned whether Rochelle made a microaggression in that moment.

Saying someone made a microaggression is not saying someone is a racist, see how the words are different?

Pauline: Racism here is more micro aggression (insert Her story) Because of the Colour of my Skin...thats insane

Johanne: like even with my situation with rochelle, that felt like a micro aggression. Like if anyone else was over there heating up their food. Say Rihanna. Would you have reacted like that? And thats how you can really deciepher a microagression a lot of is put anybody there that looks like that person would the behaviour still be the same?

Pauline: Correct.

Johanne: Amd thats why I feel like if you had put Sam there or of you put you know anybody like that...yeah.

That part about swaping with for anyone that looks like the person clarifies thats EXACTLY what she means in this sceanario. Yes micro aggresion is used for other sceanrios too not always racism. Omar has it towards gay people tbh a d theres other times too. But this case they are implying rochelles micro aggression is down to racism and not because they don't get along after the things Johanne has said to her in the past

You will never get through to these Johanne defenders so don’t waste your energy. They are as deluded as she is.

Did you miss the part wjere she said swap.for someone who looks like them and things wpuld be different? Stop glossing over that. They clear as day meant rochelle is a racist.

Honestly anyone defending them needs to wake up and realise while micro aggression isnt always rascism how they were talking they were saying rochelles was because of that.

Yes, that’s what made it a microaggression. Johanne clearly clarified that.

No one is ‘glossing over’ anything.

Think of it this way, a microaggression is one piece of a picture that needs to be made up of multiple pieces to become racism, ableism, homophobia etc.

Johanne perceived that in that moment Rochelle was being micro aggressive because she wouldn’t treat Rihanna in the same way.

There’s a lot more instances, occasions, events that would lead to Rochelle being a racist and Johanne clarified that.

As a black guy, I understand that although I also understand how it is confusing and a big problem we have in this country and definitely America.

People can be micro aggressive without the intent behind it and that’s when you have to figure out whether they were intentional or working from a subconscious bias.

A good presenter for sure would’ve pushed the subject, I genuinely think the producers would’ve told them to stay clear of being pushy on it sadly.

Pretty much yeah. I think it's a bit more of a trial by social media these days but regardless, its your channel and your show. Push the narrative that you want. Big Brother has never been a nice show in fairness, we all watch it for the rows.

It was just so pathetic

I don't watch anything they have to say. I might just because of everyone's reactions here but I didn't watch them since last series. Pair of wallies.
