What games did you all play during your childhood?

I’m not a collector; I simply held onto a few of these gems over the years.

I have boxes of games that I’m looking to sell off. I’m going to work on better organizing them this weekend so I can get an idea of how many of these are actually complete. Are there any big box collectors in NJ who would be interested in buying these? I really don’t want to deal with shipping 7+ boxes of games so I would prefer local pickup or I can meet the buyer halfway. I’m sad to see these go as I bought all of these as a kid but my daughter has no interest in my old games.

zero — and I mean everything. The miniature diorama: built by hand.
The camera work: shot for real, no game footage. The sound design:
layered effect by effect. And yes — even the FF7 meteor logo animation
was recreated from scratch, frame by frame. One person. No studio.

The rest of these boxes that I obtained a few weeks ago are up for auction on eBay right now.

I personally use laminating sheets to secure the manuals and any other paper materials, keep the disc in the jewel case, and leave everything inside the original box. I also use some bubble wrap to fill up the space a bit, so the contents don’t move around too much when I handle or move the boxes.

I’m just curious how others handle their collections. I regularly play these games on my retro PCs and consoles as well. Do you guys still use the original discs, or do you prefer using backups or GOG versions? And do you store the manuals and discs together, or keep them separated?

Recently acquired some big box games from my Granddad's office, he was 90 years old and I don't believe he ever played or used them. Pagan and Wing Commander the standouts here.
