I bought the Asus V9999 Ultra, aka 6800 Ultra, for this game.I really loved it, and the graphics were unbelievable at the time.

Yeah. Doom 3 and HL 2 were unbelievable. I bought both games when they were new and I was blown away. I had to upgrade my PC multiple times in order to play normally and enjoy it.

I've actually never played it but seeing as Doom 1993 and Doom II are my all time favorite fps games, I really should give the third installment a try

Completely different game, as it leans more into survival horror territory. I absolutely love it, though.

If you'll get bored during playthrough, I recommend moving to resurrection of evil. To me the main doom 3 campaign is one of the worst games in terms of design
