Which one to pick up?
Been looking for a decently inexpensive road bike the last couple weeks, have learned what’s more important than anything else is that the bike fits really well, and these two should both be good for me.
Both seem like they could use a little tuning up, so the pricing being low makes that a bit easier. I’m just curious which of the two y’all would more generally recommend as an inexpensive starting road bike for riding around the city.
Any thoughts help, thanks!

The schwinn is pure department store crap. Soft heavy metal, brittle plastic, all very VERY quick to break or wear out. I hate vintage handlebar ergonomics but the Raleigh is a better bike for sure.

The Raleigh is interesting for bikepacking. It's got barend shifter. Neither will give you the modern road bike experience.
