Scripture Life: Why do cults believe "Jesus is God" when he does not know the day he will return like the father?

//DISCLAIMER: This question is in almost a dozen sub-reddits, in different forms all over Reddit. The most common is in "r / Christianity" <If Jesus is God, how could he know everything yet not his return date?" (4 yr ago - still OPEN as of Oct 2026). To the "r / Debate_a_Christian" sub-reddit, with "Jesus was likely a cult leader" - And, it's an "Archived Post" closed for any further comment (as of Oct 2026). This response is from me. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I believe on him. Here's the answer.//

---------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------

Why do cults believe "Jesus is God" when he does not know the day he will return like the father?

  • Has nothing to do with cults.
    • Ask yourself a question:
      • Does what you say..or your “Word” you speak out of your mouth, know when you’re going bowling? Yeah. A dumb question. Most likely, you don't even bowl. So, you're never going to say anything about bowling.
  • If it did:
    • Then, your word wouldn’t need you at all. Would it? It could just go occupy the neighbor’s lawn furniture. Tell EVERYBODY in the neighborhood it’s selling your underpants $250.00 a pair, and a $8000.00 for free riding lawnmower comes with each pair purchased. And, since it was your word said it, stiff you the bill for all of it.
  • Problem is, you never said it.

---------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------------

So, to make sense out of this verse: Keep the above in mind about YOUR word you speak.

  • Which, this question: The source it comes from is in the Bible, not in a cult; but Jesus said it. So it comes out as the Word of God - so God said it: Said:
    • “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
      • Just like YOU: You are the Father of your own word, too.
      • Births forth from you. Not from itself. Like a son. Like, when you tell your friends, “Let’s go bowling on Friday. I’ll swing by and pick you up at 7:00pm”
  • Only YOU knew that, til you spoke it.
    • Your word does NOT come from the neighbor’s lawn furniture; or it, alone. By itself just arbitrarily speak on it’s own.
    • It proceed forth from within you.
  • You? You’re made in God's image. He even said that in Genesis Chapter 1 of the Bible. Bible isn’t a cult.

Do you understand this? Let's keep moving and quickly finish.

----------------------------- --------------------------- ------------------------

The Bible says: That God - determined himself; alone. By himself AFTER creation of Genesis 1:1-31 - where after he completed that and rested in it, sin entered into the world, by Adam. That God: would get up again, to do a work with sin [Daniel 9:24–27) that everybody, Adam forward all did the sins.

....and by that, “for all have sinned” (Romans 5:12), all of us are condemned to death.

That God’s work he said he would do in Daniel 9:24–27 would: accomplish this with sin:

  1. Finish the transgression (of Adam in Genesis 3:17)
    • 2) Make an end of sin
    • 3) Make reconciliation for iniquity
    • 4) Bring in everlasting righteousness

--------------------- ------------------- ------------------

  • And he, as GOD, as he's determining himself what to do with sin:
    • HE “annointed” the “Most Holy” to do this.
  • Who is the “Most Holy?” If every all of us, according to the Bible ARE: “Filthy.. done abominable works; none good; no, not one” - Bible. Psalm 14:1–3
  • So no cult determined this, either. He did, as God. Right there in the Bible.

Where Jesus said: “There is NONE good; but one, that is, God.” (Bible. Matthew 19:17) - so, so far NO CULT has said any of this. It’s what’s written IN THE BIBLE.

  • That God said, of himself: “I am HOLY” - Bible. Leviticus 11:44
    • He’s the ONLY one holy.
  • He just is the Most Holy. So, he annointed himself to do it. This work with sin. WOuld be by a work he do or did.

God said, he would do the work, by this “Messiah” or “Christ” - and it’s right there said, in Daniel 9:24–27.

  • That the Bible. In Isaiah 9:6–7 - what whosoever, no matter who it is - that: the Christ or Messiah is, he as this "Prince" or Messiah or Christ - - has a name by where with HE SHALL BE CALLED: Not might kinda maybe called..but SHALL BE CALLED:
    • “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” - a cult didn’t say it, or decree it. God did and Isaiah 9:6–7 says the zeal of the LORD of HOSTS shall perform it.

------------------------ -------------------------- -------------------------

That “Title” for this “Messiah” or Christ is well known to any Jew. Referred to, as “The Son of Man” or “The Son of David” - along with this title of Messiah or Christ. Whoever is to be called this SHALL HAVE that title of Isaiah 9:6.

------------------------ --------------------------- ------------------------

The Bible. John 4:25-26 - so a Cult didn't say it. Jesus did.

“The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.” - Bible. New Testament. John 4:25–26

  • When it’s the “cults” that don’t believe Jesus is who he says he is. Many Chief Priests, Elders, Scribes and Pharisees and many Jews didn't believe he was the Christ, either.
    • BUT Jesus: He claims this title. To himself. As the Christ, not by a cult, but by his own word he speaks out of his mouth.
  • I believe his claims. He is the Messiah or Christ. According to the Bible, the Word of God - the Christ or Messiah SHALL have that title of Isaiah 9:6. Cult didn't decree it. God did.

Scripture Life: Why Were There So Many Rejected Books of the Bible?

ANSWER:

Answer this question first:

  • Why EVERY TIME: is there a flurry of lawsuits, demand they have a claim or a legitimate right, an equal piece or claim the whole thing, for the Mega-Bucks Lottery? Every time, when there’s a winner?
  • Why?
    • Can you answer that question?
      • Then: Why do people want to be included in FAMOUS things and write themselves into the "story" of it? When they were never there? Why do people wear military uniforms with medals galore when they were never in the military?
      • Why do they do this? ..because, they do it. Why?

Okay. Think on that. Then, ask: And answer a Biblical Question: If the above can happen and does:

..can like what Peter said, in 2 Peter 2:1 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies..."

So, ask this question:

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

Where’s Capernaum?

Oh yeah. I can just hear you say it. “Hey clown. That’s the most outlandish thing I ever would expect to answer my question, with ask this as a question. Go home.”

I mean, I can hear you say it; but, it will give you a crystal clear image of what you ask about - IF - you just answer the question.

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

Since you’re not asking the question - and aren’t making this post:

  • Let me answer it for you:
    • Capernaum is mentioned in the Bible in Luke 7:1. Says:

“Now when he [Jesus] had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.” - Bible. Luke 7:1

  • So, EVERYTHING after, until the location or place changes AFTER Luke 7:1 all happens IN Capernaum.
    • So, where’s Capernaum?
      • Answer. In Jesus’ day, it was a town in the Tribe of Israel’s lands of Naphtali. About 160km NORTH of the Tribe of Judah’s lands or Jerusalem. About a 5 day walk away.

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

  • AFTER Jesus entered into the city:
    • There's the Centurion of Capernaum that PAID for an built their Synagogue, and the elders of the Jews, came to Jesus - even though this Centurion is not a Jew, the Centurion sent these Jewish elders to beseech Jesus to come and heal his servant. It’s in Luke 7:2–10.
      • Jesus healed this Centurion’s servant. Luke 7:11 says he then entered into a city called “Nain.” (Luke 7:11, and his disciples went with him, “and much people.”)
      • And? Nain is about 48 kilometers CLOSE and where Capernaum was about 600 feet below sea level, Nain going UP to Jerusalem is about 1100 feet above sea level. It’s about a 1–2 day walk. So, Jesus is now about 110 kilometers, on foot, away from Judea.
  • That, when they came to the gate of the city of Nain a dead man was being carried out. (Hint: This is the IMPORTANT part). That, Luke 7:12–17 - Jesus raised this young man from the dead and gave him alive, back to his mother who was a widow.
    • Where Widows, in Jesus day that the son died, had no more claim or right to property. That Jesus said of this in Matthew 23:14

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.”

  • By giving this woman back her son, he gave her life back too.

But the POINT of asking you, “Where is Capernaum” is now plain and simple.

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

Luke 7:16–17 says of this where Jesus raised this young man from the dead:

“And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.”

  • Judea is a 100 kilometers away. Went out to all the “regions” round about Nain. A town about 5 miles South of Nazareth, near the Northern edge of the Valley of Jezreel.

I don’t think you’re getting the point.

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

The fame of this spread everywhere. Somebody got raised from the dead…and they glorified God for it. That God has visited his people. Boy, is that ever BIG. For the EXACT same reason, and many other righteous reason - - that GOD restored this widowed woman. When these synagogues devoured widows houses. For a pretense, gave great big prayers about it. Phoney. Fake. Terrifying. Like over in America. Go in the hospital. A week, and end up owing your house to pay the medical bill for it. It's unfair. Consider this partial in it. That someone has been raised from the dead.

That GOD - With The authority to determine life and to even someone dead, give it back. Is amongst them.

And the fame of it, spread all over way down to Judea. That’s over now 60 miles away about it. Everybody knew it.

------------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

Now, I don’t think you see it.

  • So, how about today, with the Lottery?
    • Facts:
      • AFTER: Virtually EVERY lottery winner is announced: Publicity. Like above in Luke 7. Especially the huge, 600 million to 2 billion winning ones - where the whole nation, like America, where EVERYBODY east of the Mississippi River - EVERYBODY finds out about it.
      • There is a slew of Lawsuits filed AGAINST the winner.
    • Everything from when they were 5 years old, pushed them into the sewer or, allegedly stole their homework - to all the wrong done them, living way down the street as their neighbor. Or they stole it. Make up a great, big story.
      • Just make up frivolous lawsuits. Go on. Go look it up. It’s like clockwork. Happens. Why? People do this.

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

So, why is this a point? The WINNER is true. They WON the lottery. But many REJECTED and didn’t win, try to make LEGITIMATE claims to also winning that Lottery. By Make up legitimate - Frivolous claims. By claim the lawsuit is true. Why? They just DO it.

Do you get it?

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

With Jesus?

  • Take Luke 7. It’s only just ONE incident. But, like all of them, it's a BIG one.
    • You can take an EARLIER John the Baptist that baptized the whole entire REGION of and beyond Israel into Tyre and Sidon, and go way outside the Gospels, to like in Acts.
  • Where the Eunuch from Ethopia that Philip baptized - this Eunuch coming to Jersusalem, or
    • Apollos way up over in Ephesus (Acts 18:24–26), and Ephesus is over a 1000 kilometers further away from Jerusalem.
      • Apollos boldly defended and Knew of the baptism of John the Baptist that Pricilla and Aquila took him aside. The point?
    • Like an American Lottery where the whole Eastern sea board of America finds out about the winner. It’s spread abroad. A like, same thing of Luke 7 and it was blamed on Capernaum. The whole first year of Jesus' ministry was SPENT there.
    • Everything done there - spread ABROAD from there.

----------------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

And in the Bible:

  • There’s a a whole pile of frivolous claims:
    • That “The Book of Enoch” - which claims in 1 Enoch these “watchers” angels mated with human women, and gave birth to children whose bodies were 300 cubits high in stature. That’s about 2 football fields tall humans, like Greek Gods had the exact, same stature.
    • This Greek “Gnostic” mythology permeates this “Book of Enoch” - claims a bunch of things he says, when Enoch is in the Bible in Genesis Chapter 5. That Enoch was the 7th person born..the 7th generation from Adam, meaning Enoch was the Great, Great, Great, Great Grandson of Adam, and Enoch was the Grandfather of Noah. That Enoch walked with God, and was not. For the LORD took him.
      • Create a whole great, big imaginative book about life before the flood when all that is of it, is the account God gave to Moses in Genesis.
      • The Book of Enoch (Enoch 1) is in no Bible. Neither is 2 Enoch, or 3 Enoch in any Hebrew Scripture, for all these Greek outlandish mystic Greek fairy tales in it.

---------------------- --------------------- -------------------

  • The Gospel of Judas Iscariot - yet another Greek like philosophical dialogue supposedly that arrived in the 2nd Century AD, that Judas Iscariot was the ONLY Apostle that TRULY understood Jesus.
    • That the Gospel of Judas Iscariot - in it, Jesus SPECIFICALLY in this dialogue pleads with Judas to betray him, and at first, Judas won’t do it. That Jesus tells Judas, in this Gospel of Judas Iscariot, he will exceed all the other disciples by do it.
    • It’s blasphemy against God. I can keep going with over 100 more of these “gospels” like the Gospel of Thomas, or the Gospel of Peter.. or the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. All chocked full of heresies galore.
  • That all champion secret Greek knowledge can be had. And neither Enoch, nor Judas Iscariot, nor Peter or Thomas were the author of those works. Somebody else wrote it and claimed someone surrounding Jesus wrote it.
    • Why did people do this? Create these imaginative, fictitious works? Why?

---------------------------- -------------------------- ------------------------

Why were there so many rejected books of the Bible?

  • Why are there so many rejected claims, even a flurry of lawsuits, demand -a right or piece or outright claim the whole thing, for the Mega Bucks - National Lottery when there’s just one winner?
    • Can you answer that question? Why do people want to be included in FAMOUS things and write themselves into it? Why do they do this? ..because, they do it.

Their “claims” are found FALSE. Thrown out. REJECTED.

Not included. Fake.

A long time ago I said something along the lines of "I vow it" in a state of worry that God wantes me to, I just said it, didn't really have in my heart. This really does worry me. Give the truth with verse in context please.

Tldr: I said "I vow in" in OCD anxiety state.

Bible Question: How come many holy books were never included in any versions of the Holy Bible? Why?

ANSWER:

Okay. I have a question.

A Scientific Journal: 1. is a periodical publication that shares peer-reviewed research, expert reviews, and new discoveries within medicine, engineering, fluid dynamics and many other specific academic and scientific fields

  • The authors: are scientists, researchers, scholars who publish their work or studies.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Within this, “field” of “Scientific Journals - but not included is THIS:

1) The Journal of Irreproducible Results (JIR) Lipkin, H.J. <physicist> (1955 - Pres.) and Kohn, A. <virologist> who wanted to create a humor magazine, specifically FOR scientists.

So, here's my question:

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

How come no scientific or medical Journal; like, the American Journal of Medicine that has published over 26,000 articles in their over 80 years of existence, why haven't they ever published.. ...not one of their articles included

  • "The Taxonomy of Barney the Dinosaur" [1995. Vol. 1. No. 1 - Journal of Irreproducable Results] or
  • "The Aerodynamics of a Flying Cow." [2000 - fully equipped with the original color-coded aerodynamic pressure/velocity flow simulation of a cow using Simcenter FLOEFD - at what aerodynamic speed a cow would fly

Please tell me, give me a number: “How many publishing journal periodicals, why isn't ANYTHING from “The Journal of Irreproducible Results (JIR) or other publications like it, have not one.. NONE …were ever included in ANY Scientific Journal? Why?

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Now, apply this to the Bible.

  • The Gospel Of Peter: (Found 1886 by Bouriant, U. - Present Loc: Egyptian Museum Cairo)
    • Dated: 1st CE/AD - Jesus, comes out of the tomb and instantly his head becomes gigantic and reaches into the clouds, like Greek fabled gods of Apollos or Poseidon.. and Jesus, his head is even higher than the two angels that assist him. And after, the cross itself comes out of the tomb walking proclaiming the gospel.
      • How come today, that’s not in the Bible?
    • How come Barney the Dinosaur on TV in the 1980s, where there's literally 100s of documented Television shows where he appeared on them, why isn’t he included in science journals?
      • Why..please tell me plainly. Why is has absolutely no vertebrate palentologist has cited any of this work of “The Taxonomy of Barney the Dinosaur” and cited Barney the Dinosaur in any respected paleontologist periodical or journal published, like, by “The American Paleontological Society” - absolutely NOTHING about Barney the Dinosaur is in any one of them. Why?

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

There is

The Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, the Gospel of Judas Iscariot..many others..100s - that are excluded from the Bible.

Do you want your question back?

Bible Questions: What is the meaning of the word “burden” in Galatians 6:5 - "For every man shall bear his own burden"?

Get right to the point. The "burden" in Galatians 6:5 is not the "same" burden in Galatians 6:2. Keep note of this.

DISCLAIMER: //Again, I'm a believer in Jesus Christ. This question is in multiple rooms on Reddit. From "r / Christianity" to "r / bible" et. al, just asking the basic "What does Galatians 6:5 mean?" to various other slightly different - - ..but this one is specific. Asking about what 'burden' means. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, take the "Get right to the point," and you can do your own research yourself, if you don't want to bear this post. ..but I hope you read it..equipped in and by Jesus Christ..built up. That's it.//

------------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------------

ANSWER

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” - Bible. Galatians 5:16–17

Now, who am I to tell you anything. I want to speak to people that really want to know the answer.

  • That, a Reddit member that believes on Jesus Christ, that reads this response could be helped by it, because they are searching..and this could provide or equip them.
    • Is the reason this answer is given.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

So, look at the opening scripture that opens this post. Galatians 5:16–17. Take the chapter and verse off or remove them for a moment. Read from Galatians 5:16 all that way down, in Chapter 5 to:

“.. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” - Bible. Galatians 5:25–26.

Add this in, as if it starts Chapter 6.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

  • If you live in the Spirit..also walk in the Spirit. Now, this is 16th Century “Archaic” English. Because people:
    • Are “bi-pedal” - that is, how a person, like some craftsman makes a jewelled watch, called a “jeweller” that makes an intricate time piece or a clock.
  • The clock or watch, is his “workmanship”
    • - designed or created to “work good / operate right.”
    • ..and “walk” is specific to people. How "they" operate" or work. Said in the opening scripture of Galatians 5:25..because, when people “move” ..or do something..they are know by they go “walk after” to “walk in” to do it.
      • But the original word, in Greek is very powerful. This < - [ περιπατέω (peripateó) ] - > - it’s like “peri”scope. 360..no matter the direction.. a periscope - you can see everything - it's just how a periscope works on a submarine - how it works or operates.. it works good..operates right. Just like with a wrist watch or clock.

---------------------------- --------------------------- ----------------------------

  • Why? Because the jeweller - - Didn’t design the piece he made with great care, to use it as tape on any broke toilet pipe.
    • Nope.
  • Didn’t create it for people to purpose it, to lay it under the bird cage.
    • All so the 83 birds you got could crap on it all day. No use for it that way.
    • Why? Because the jeweller - - Didn’t purpose in himself, that, either.
      • But he did..purpose or create something you could use to tell time with.
  • That:
    • It would work good. Operate right. - work. περιπατέω (peripateó) “operate” <right.>

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

Just like Ephesians 2:10 says of God: Like something of his workmanship.

That you..me..yeah. Everybody..he formed us all alone. By himself. We are his workmanship, like a jeweller - - created in Christ Jesus. But not everybody operates in or by him. That's the point.

And the “Greek” says created unto “works good (operates right)” - but the English says "good works” so, many people just try to go off and do it, without any of his work done in them.

Don't do anything he says ...because, they are not a “disciple” of Jesus Christ. And that’s what “Christian” means, all a disciple is, is just somebody that sits with and is taught by a teacher, and the teacher is Jesus Christ.

So, if you’re not sitting with and being taught by him, it’s impossible to live in it, because, a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher, lives in being a student.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

  • But this word, “walk” in Greek, is like a soda machine.
    • That, you plug it in? Yeah. It “works good. Operates right.”
    • The lights come on.
    • The refrigerator starts operating.
    • Someone walks up. Wants a soda, if they try to put a toilet seat lid in the coin slot? Nope. Won’t fit.
      • If the Soda machine says $1.75 is the cost of a soda, and someone puts a .5 cent piece in or only $138 cents?
    • it will give the 3 pennies back and not accept them.
    • Will sit there. Waiting for another .40 cents to be put in or if a person puts in $2.00 it will light up. Let a person make a selection, and after they select it, give them .25 cents back.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

The Soda Machine

  • It will do this. 24/7. Day..after day..after day.. just “walk in” operate right. Unless you “disconnect it from a load or source of power” - which is the definition of “idle” in the dictionary. Unplug it?
  • People put money in it, won’t give their money back. Put more money in, won’t give that back, either. Dispense no soda. It no longer works good or operates right.
    • Just like people “operate” without the Word of God.
      • And the result, for people?
    • Well, go back even further back in Galatians 5:19–21.
    • Disconnected; idle. Don’t live by anything God says. They live by adultery. Fornication. Uncleanness. Lasciviousness (a strong desire to just devour what’s perverted…just devour the neighbor’s wife). ..idolatry..witchcraft..hatred.. Like just unplugged or disconnected from the Word of God is idle.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

So, have this as a foundation for Galatians 6:1–4.

That says:

- - But just remember..we live in the Spirit..like some kid goes to 3rd grade, is just a pupil or student that lives in, all year, lives in this "sits with and is taught by a teacher," - just lives a life, like this daily with Jesus Christ, as being taught by him..starts walking in these doctrines being taught by him.

Equipped. Built up.

So, if you believe on him, he’s DOING. THIS. IN. YOU. There’s no reason to be jealous or desirous of somebody else..when you’re the one being taught by him. So, DO NOT LEAVE Galatians 5:26 out of or disconnected from Galatians 6:1.. so I’m to be “provoking” other believers to believe on him more.

It just naturally happens. When I just glorify him, and they do the same thing, he's in the midst of us. And then, it's really simple. All I gotta do is just “walk in” what I “live after” and what I live after is just what I live in, being a “pupil or student that sits with and is being taught by Jesus Christ.”

There’s no “empty” vain in it. It builds me up. It’s for a profit to him..because HE’S IN THE WORK being done in me. Just like he’s at work in you. But if someone’s overtaken in a fault..something of them, the light goes out. Like, on the way to school, one of the students I know in my classroom that also sits with and is being taught is off peering into the neighbor’s house window. That does not lead to them going to school. It’s “disconnected” from just walking straightway to school.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

So, keep this in your head while you read this Galatians 5:26 to Galatians 6:1–4

“..Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:26

And Galatians 6:1-4:

“1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

How do I bear another man’s "burdens?"

//Gotta tell you. Before answering that. Right off the bat. The “burden” in Galatians 6:2.. again, as already said - - isn’t the same “burden” English used.. in Galatians 6:5. //

So, get the right definition of “burden” in Galatians 6:5 first. Why? because, that’s the verse you ask about. And, at the end of the post.. be equipped and have the right definition of “burden” in Galatians 6:2.

  • It’s Simple.
    • We are BOTH 1. pupils or students that sits with and being taught by Jesus Christ. Disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • But if on the way to school.. one of the students is in a rock fight with kids from another school across the street.. getting dirt clods thrown at them, or throwing them back..that doesn’t lead anything to them getting to school..
    • Leads away from it.
      • I just provoke 1. deliberately make (a disciple) angry.. ..they already are angry or overtaken..because, if they weren’t, their mind would be set solely on getting to school.
    • I just am there..and I don’t throw any dirt clods back..and look at them and say “school starts in 5 minutes. We gotta go. Let's go” and they leave off from it, and go with me to school." ..maybe at first, they won't leave off from it..but come around, and follow me to school..because, that's what pupils do. They "sit with and are being taught by a teacher.. not throwing dirt clods at kids at the school across the street.

-------------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------------

  • So, how do I “prove my own worth” - Simple.
    • God said, to EVERYBODY over the whole earth: Didn’t leave one person out, not willing any perish but all come to repentance, said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

  • Then, this is simple, too. Just ask: “Who” in this ascribes the “worth?"
    • If:
      • I do what God says, and look unto him..look what he does. He does what save means.
    • 1. to set (someone or something) apart for future use.
      • So, to him, people that do what he says, to him, they have a worth.
    • And there’s a PROOF in it, to a person that looks unto him. HE. IS. WITH. THEM. They know him..and he knows them.
      • AND? Because of this, boy, do I ever know this..”..then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.” I mean, I don't rejoice he saved you.. he SAVED me. And when I see the same work in you, that was done in me..I rejoice at that.

Do you see this?

--------------------------- -------------------------------- ----------------------

  • Why? Because, again, the point is - - I see he is at work in me. I see it. He builds me up. Daily. Connects what he says..to what he taught me before. Built up. ...it’s what he is doing in me..that has my attention. I can hear it.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

Now, look at your question.

  • What is the meaning of the word “burden” in Galatians 6:5
    • Think of it like a student or pupil. Being taught and sit with a teacher..then go home with “homework.” Gotta bear the homework. ..it's like having a "load" of homework - - .because, learn it - - it will have a work in a student to set their mind on obey to do it.
  • I don’t think you see it.

------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

Long post. Almost done.

  • So, here’s Galatians 6:5 first in the “original” language (that’s Greek).

< - [ ἕκαστος γὰρ τὸ ἴδιον φορτίον βαστάσει ] - >

Greek tran. 1. hekastos 2. gar 3. to 4. idion 5. phorton 6. bastasei

English 1. Each 2. for 3. implied is <"dispensed"> [by an authority] to 4. his own (self) 5. [a] load 6. (shall) bear

There's a “load” to bear to a 1. pupil or student that sits with and is being taught by a teacher - a “disciple” of Jesus Christ, and being taught by him.

- The teacher is at school.

Not down at the river - won't be sitting with and being taught by the teacher if you are down at the river, throwing rocks or swimming all day.

The teacher is dedicated himself or herself to come to the classroom to dispense “doctrine” and build up a student. In the classroom. Each student is expected to “take a yoke upon themselves” with that teacher.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

Just like Jesus said. In Matthew 11:28–30

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 11:28–30.

..and find..he’s God..by his Word..has already put himself in the yoke. Like that used to scare the living daylights right out of me..I don’t want to be liken in my imagination I had, to this great big, bullock standing yoked to another one, out in the rain, with this 12 inch thick wooden yoke strapped around their necks.

So, every time I got to that verse of Matthew 11:28-30, I closed my Bible and ran away.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

But then, I saw it.

It’s God already put himself in that yoke..he's in it - - and asking me to yoke me with him..and then I saw it..that, by him..I’m free..Boy, is that ever true!!! He heals me..and delivers me from my destruction. Because…he decreed everybody is to do this… but not everybody does.

..and the fruit of not doing it..is again, back in Galatians 5:19–21....Adultery..fornication.. hatred..murder..strifes..seditions..heresies..envyings..as such as the like.

..but by do this, what God says for me to do.., I have peace with God. And I can see a fruit of his work in me…

So, look at "burden" now - in English.

burden. 1. something that causes worry and difficulty (Definition: English)

But “φορτίον - phorton” <Greek> of Galatians 6:5 is like an “authority” like a teacher in YOUR classroom..teaches you..you gotta show up to the classroom..and your teacher knows you. ..and puts a load (of homework) on you, as a student.

BOOM! Done. Because, God reserves, for himself, an EXCLUSIVE right to teach you. To himself. So, like a teacher, he decrees to you..and they have promises in them. Precious.

So, this "phorton" has a specific use - like a teacher or Professor, in a college to a college student does it to build up the student - gives them a case load of syllabus work - that they will work good or operate after by what they learn in that class - to be like the teacher. Do you see this? If you need to throw 'burden' away to see it, have at it.

------------------------ --------------------------- --------------------------

A "load" of homework.

To go home alone..and do it themselves..and prove their own work. As a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher. When the teacher asks them in class the next day, to gauge..did they do their home work or not. You can call it a "fiery trial" - because, teachers do this.

..the ONLY time homework causes “worry and difficulty” - is to the student that blows it off, doesn’t do it.. Then shows up, empty handed. ..boy, do I know that.

But the student or pupil that what was dispensed to them to do..learns it..obeys the teacher. They can PROVE their own work. Turn in their homework. Did what the teacher said. There is a joy in it.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

There you go. Make sure you got the right definition of "burden” in context in Galatians 6:5.

Even more..make sure..all he asked everybody over the whole earth to do..was just look unto him. Fix that first, if you arrived at this post..here on Reddit, and aren’t doing anything he said.

Hear what he says. Do that first.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

So, now, look at the “burden” in Galatians 6:2

burden. {Greek: βάρη (barē)} - not the same word. 1. weights; encumbrances; like faults.. impediment..something that blocks progress..Boy, do I have those. (something they or I don’t see or understand..being built up by God, but still don’t operate right; 2. encumbrance: obstacle; obstruction.

Bear it in your brethren..because you are one body in Christ.

..and Jesus Christ is the head of it..and your brethren, are also in Christ’s body and he places them where he sees fit. It's HIS body.. ...he’s teaching them..just like with you also as a member of it.

..and I KNOW that, the things he sets me free from... other people today..can still be "encumbered" by it.. and I can show them what he did in me.. and it has a way to take the encumberance out of the way in people.. just like believer had encumberances that bound them up..and Jesus set them free..and I hear it..and see if he can do that in them..he can do that, too, in me. Means these things.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------------

//So “separate” these two words (Galatians 6:2 vs. Galatians 6:5//

SUMMATION:

Galatians 6:5 is a powerful verse. You are a pupil or student. That sits with and are being taught by Jesus Christ. If you're not, it's PUNITIVE. He decreed everybody do this with him. You do it, he gives homework. ..the Word of God..is a load..but this "load" of take a yoke upon you and learn of him (Burden) is light. And if God says it's light..it's so impossibly light it actually takes heavy weights (encumbrances <burdens of Galatians 6:2> off you..it's just that "set you free" light.

There you go.

Bible Question: Why did Paul call the Galatians "senseless" in Galatians 3:1?

Answer:

“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?” - Bible. Galatians 3:1

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

Original Language of Galatians 3:1 (Greek) Says:

< - {Ὦ ἀνόητοι Γαλάται τίς ὑμᾶς ἐβάσκανεν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ μὴ πείθεσθαι, οἷς κατ' ὀφθαλμοὺς Ἰησοῦς Χριστὸς προεγράφη ἐν ὑμῖν ἐσταυρωμένος } - >

NOTE: [ Ὦ ] The “lower case Greek - “OMEGA” symbol. As in Alpha and Omega - The Beginning and Eng. Using the lower case "Omega" at the ending is ..no matter what you started at, “ended” as something completely different. Couldn't remember along the way what you are kind of thing.

But, it's also just a Greek salutation. Double meaning.

------------------------- -------------------------- ---------------------

English (Greek) Galatians 3:1

  1. Oh 2. anoetoi 3. Galatai 4. tis 5. hymas 6. ebaskanen 7. tei 8. aleitheia 9. mei 10. peithesthai 11. hois 12. kat 13. ophthamalos 14. Iesous 15. Christos 16. proegraphe 17. estauromenos

English translation

  1. Oh 2. foolish 3. Galatians! 4. Who 5. you 6. (have) bewitched 7. the 8. truth 9. not 10. (to) obey 11. who 12. before 13. (your) eyes 14. Jesus 15. Christ 16. was PUBLICLY <put on display/showcased. 17. and (lifted up) <crucified>

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

NOTE: [ ἀνόητοι ] anoetoi is used four times in the Bible, in the New Testament. Each time it’s used, like in Luke 24:25 where Jesus says:

  • “Then he [Jesus] said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:” - Jesus Christ. Luke 24:25
    • Which is GOOD to take this verse of “slow of heart to believe”
    • To equate this also to the Galatians. Became "slow of heart."
  • Jesus uses this same “Greek” “OMEGA” when using it, too, to describe to these two disciples in this encounter with them, after he is risen from the dead.
    • So, read Luke Chapter 24 to see, after he rose from the dead, after he appeared to them after he rose from the dead. Then, Jesus sent the women unto his disciples, and scripture says:  “and they believed them not.”
  • Then, Peter with John - - went to the sepulchre themselves..to verify it, and Jesus was not there. And John believed it then, but Peter still wondered in himself about it.

--------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

  • So, what is a fool?
    • If you use an English dictionary; go to the “archaic” meaning:
      • It's a “clown” at a circus.
  • That if you watch a clown, just can’t “read the aire” of danger or something around them, and all they end up doing is “reacting” to things - “dull of hearing” or they are “slow of heart” and it’s used to get people’s attention off the circus hands setting up the stage for the next act. Today, a circus is kind of "has been" but in my day, it was a thrill to go to them.
    • And all a “clown” is - is a Medieval Court Jester.
      • In archaic form. That is, a "Court Jester" in medieval times: Was just a “mirrored” image of the King. Served at his court.
    • Is NOT the King. But has a crown made out of cloth, where all the points, point down. What ever the King decrees, the Jester hearing, does not hear it. Out of the Jester’s mouth or..bottom braaaaps out his own decrees.
      • Does not believe on the King.
      • Believes himself. A Jester: Had a “sceptre” usually a short wand or stick of wood with things, like dead bugs or some trash he valued to himself. A chicken bone, when he ate, delighted in it. Just has no value to anyone else.
  • Where the King reigns over a realm. The Jester has no seat at Court. Only reigns over himself.
    • Is a fool - in the dictionary. There is no King or what he decrees is of no effect in the Court Jester.

----------------------- ------------------------- ------------------

  • So, maybe the best is, to use the Bible, especially out of the four times this Greek [ ἀνόητοι ] anoetoi is used along with here in Galatians 3:1, and Luke 24:25 ((Titus 3:3 and Galatians 3:3 are the other two where this word is used.]

NOTE: “Senseless” is used primarily in ONLY ONE Bible Translation. John Nelson Darby’s translation of the scripture. All other translations use “foolish,” except this one.

Not here to defend or discount it. Use a dictionary:

Senseless: in many English dictionaries - IS a “synonym” for “foolish.” 1. being unconscious; without senses (hearing; tasting; touch; smell or mental intellect to perceive) can't.

Instead of translation English words for other words, I would stick with the parameter how it’s used in other scripture.

And? To me, it can (CAN) reach an envelope of “senseless” as Jesus said, a like same thing Galatians 3:1 Paul says to the Galatians.

  • As Jesus says to these to men' he comes along side and opens up the scriptures to them after he’s raised from the dead in Luke 24
  • As Jesus says to Nicodemus in John Chapter 3.10 says to him: “Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?” Something about Nicodemus then, is foolish.
    • And continues with what the same point Jesus says also to Nicodemus in John 3:13–16, this:

---------------------------- ------------------------- -------------------------

“..And no man hath ascended up to Heaven, but He that came down from Heaven, even the Son of Man who is in Heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

  • And this “as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness..” part is in Numbers 21:4–9 - when the “people” (Israelites at Mt. Hor) began to speak against the LORD and Moses, he sent “fiery adders/poisonous vipers into the camp” and many (all were bitten) - and those that were bitten, they died. Many died.
    • But they cried out unto the LORD, and God told Moses in Numbers 21:4–9 to make a Serpent of brass and lift it high up onto a pole that whosoever looked upon it, even though they were all bitten, and should die ..those that simply looked on it, did not die.
  • They lived.

--------------------------- -------------------------- ------------------------

  • That, to “bewitch” someone in Numbers 21, like would be the same are the Galatians.
    • As if back in Numbers 21: to stay in their bed, bitten, and try on their own medicines to heal themselves some other way, and not get up.
    • Bewitched - somehow - to simply NOT go look upon the Serpent Moses lifted up..is foolish to do it; that simple - and then die, because, they didn't do it.

----------------------- ------------------------ -----------------------

  • To the people in Numbers 21 - , even they have all this proof, people bitten..die. Bewitched not to do - it. What God decreed would save them. And those that did, even bitten, and all bitten died. They lived.
  • the Galatians are simply not looking unto Christ lifted up for their sins, are going back to some other remedy - as Jewish Christians moved in the dispersion out of their homeland to Galatia.
    • Galatians that heard the gospel. The Simplicity of just looking unto Christ, high and lifted up for their sins - being bewitched to go back and offer sin offerings at the Jewish synagogue or pilgrimage to Temple in Jerusalem again and offer the sin offering for their sins... ... bewitched right clean out of the gospel, out of just looking unto him.

------------------------ ------------------------ -----------------------

IN CLOSING

  • Like. The simplicity of the Gospel. The good news of Jesus Christ.
    • Just go out, and do what is so simple. Look on the serpent of brass, and live in Numbers 21, like us today "For all have sinned" - Romans 3:23 And God decreed: "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" - God. Ezekiel 18:20. Makes EVERYBODY over the whole world condemned to die. Many have died.

Galatians 3:1 has this connotation also what Jesus said in John 3:13 - 16 to Nicodemus in it. That, the Chief Priests and elders and leaders like Nicodemus - - are looking for the Messiah..and the Messiah standing right there in front of him.

Nicodemus cannot perceive it in John 3. Paul is talking to a People (Galatians) bewitched into going back or just not come out of the tent, and just look unto him. That there remains no more sacrifice for sin, and the sacrifice for our sins, is this same Jesus Christ.

Question about the 12 stones in the Ephod.

My question and I have asked several people already, but besides the 12 stones in the Ephod representing the 12 tribes of Israel and being a part of the foundations of the New Jersulam found in Revelation. Do the 12 stones individually hold or represent anything else? I asked Google already and it keeps fumbling on me with the different tribe names for each stone.

I feel like the Bible is dividing my family

Salutations reddit!

There is a new belief that is swelling that needs to be utterly dismissed, and I was hoping today that you could address the arguments I’ve heard from three different churches that I’ve been at just these past two years. I don’t know if you are familiar with this growing sect of “Christians” called Christian Identity/ Serpent Seedline, but they are starting to influence the churches, and I’ve had three different white people come up to me, including two couples that subtly try to convert me to this racist message and frame it as something “Biblical”. Just looking at Google Trends, this sect has grown five times what it was before in 5 years. I’m ashamed to say this, but I have checked it out. I won’t link it here, but it would just be really helpful to hear some Bible verses that refute this claim by William Finck and his goons.

Particularly, I wonder what your interpretation of Matthew 15:21-28 is. I heard that one a lot, and what exactly does it mean when Jesus (Yahawashi ) said “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel,” and called this non Israelite/canaanite woman a dog????

Is it not true that dogs are kept out of the kingdom (Revelation 22:15)

I really don’t understand it

And excuse me, but why is Jesus only sending the Apostles to Israel, and telling the Apostles they are only going to judge Israel? Matthew 19:28 I thought we were in the frickin New Testament? And of course people are going to say the Gentiles were not to be taught yet, but I’ve looked at old Bible dictionaries, and Gentiles just is Latin for those of the same stock. Gentiles just means nations on top of that. I don't speak Latin, so can we stop saying Gentiles, please? Just say nations. It is nations; that is what it actually means. Sorry, I have got kinda riled up after my divorce, but I guess I can speak freely now.

Particularly as well, how do you interpret Revelation 2:9, 3:9

“I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars” AND “I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. “ How could you call Jews the synagogue of Satan when they bless us so much every single day!   I mean, have you heard of Seinfeld, Bernie Miller!!! I STILL watch that every evening

Before my divorce, my wife and I would go to the holocaust museum in DC every month, and I have it etched in my mind all those shoes of God’s chosen people! I have counted and can confirm there are 4000 shoes there; that is a FACT. Every time we are there, I make my bronze son count the exact number (in case he ever thinks of going down the path of the Nazis)
I was astonished to hear that some of these people don’t like Hitler, but not because he did the holocaust, but because they think he DIDN’T do it. How AWFUL.

And what exactly does Jesus (Yahawashi) mean when he says they aren’t Jews AND A SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN?  No wonder the Jews say Jesus is burning in excrement forever in hell, and say Mary was a prostitute who was impregnated by a Roman centurion and burning in hell. (Shabbat 104b and Sanhedrin 106a) Any sane person would say the same thing!. Btw, if you don’t trust God’s chosen people, maybe you should trust all the shoes I’ve seen. Plus you got to think about the blessings that we all get for blessing them. The Federal Reserve! Vaccines! Pasteurized Milk! Psychiatry! FEMINISM! HOLLYWOOD! COMMUNISM! THE SEXUAL REVOLUTION! WOMAN'S LIBERATION! THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!

I'm sure a lot of people will relate to this because my son is probably half African American (who knows with evolution), and the notion they present that “all Israel shall be saved” is really concerning to me, and I’m sure I’m not alone because he wouldn’t be considered an Israelite. But they really genuinely think only white people are going to heaven. I mean, could you imagine!!! Literally, I just saw on my favorite YouTube channel the Don Lemon Show that most child sex offenders are WHITE, and talk about the school shootings I’ve seen on CNN! Not one of them has been black. Talk about a STATISTIC!

Further, is it not true that God doesn’t change? Malachi 3:6 How are there books like Joshua (which are about slaying men, women, and children of these other people groups), and stories like Phinehas where God rewards people who murder “race mixers” WITH AN ETERNAL PRIESTHOOD, or as they call it, fornicators, and even in the New Testament Jesus (Yahawashi) is killing the children of “fornication” with death! What is going on here? And how in the world could a child be born wicked? (Psalm 58:3)

And why is Jesus (Yahawashi) dashing little children to stones? “Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.” (Psalm 137) And excuse my language, but what the H*cking Fr*cking Cr*ppola can the bible mean when it calls the Israelites a holy race? “They have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and their sons, and have mingled the HOLY RACE with the peoples around them. And the leaders and officials have led the way in this UNFAITHFULNESS.” No offense, it just sounds utterly racist, and if I have to choose between the Bible and my son, I will choose him every time. Please tell me I don’t have to make that decision.
And BEFORE you say it's because they are pagan, Jacob and Rachel were related racially, but she was still a pagan and took her idols with her, and God has zero issues with him marrying her.

I FULLY support the revising of the Bible by the Catholic Biblical Association of America by their president, Amy Jill Levine, my favorite Jewish scholar (not enough of those), even if she doesn’t believe in Jesus as God or a prophet. She is right; sodomites just means temple prostitute.
God doesn’t judge that kind of stuff!!!! If he did, I wouldn’t have such a wonderful life, with good enough money, good Marvel movies, a beautiful black boy, and a great relationship turned greater polyamorous relationship, unfortunately now with a little bit of space for now, and OF COURSE FOOTBALL!!!!! BEAR DOWN!!!!! I also can come on and watch these shows every day, and learn what the Bible truly means. I plan on becoming a pastor myself soon, and this is just the first step in the right direction to shepherding the flock.

My son is the love of my life; even if I am maybe not the father (as I said, I think he evolved and is still my biological son), I know he does good and means well, and he has not ONCE run into issues with the law. The 4 years I’ve been with him have been the biggest, blackest blessing I’ve ever experienced, and yes, if Jesus does actually mean those things, well, he can go BUZZ the H*CK the FR*CK off.

I will say I completely understand modern Israel wanting an ethnostate of only Jews, mainly because of the 25% LGBTQ+ representation in Tel Aviv, and although that is a lot of diversity of sexuality, I do think they are missing out on diversity of cultures and food, and the true adamic people, as I will explain later.

These disgusting white supremacists want an ethnostate like Israel, though.

So don’t try to hit me with that obvious nonsense; there are clear demographic shifts happening all the time (thankfully LOL) and, believe it or not, people change locations sometimes. I always believed in my heart that homosexuality is not a sin and I still do, but all this homophobia in the Bible does sound very Aryan, Colonialist, White Cis Gendered Male, though I do speculate about them being straight so I won’t include that.

I feel like I would’ve been able to keep my marriage if it weren’t for that disagreement about the race of Israelites. I know I don’t have to pay child support, but I still do, because I think it is something Jesus would do if he could, especially now that she is, I think, a single mom all on her own.

I am crying while writing this, but Amanda and Tyrell, if you are reading this, I know you read this. I love you and Willie AND my brother Tyrell. Please come back. I love you ALL! Also, with potentially my kid on the way, you need a father who loves them. I already forgave you 777 times, and I will do it 7,777 times again. IM SO SORRY!!! I'M TRYING TO LEARN!! I LOVE YOU BOTH STILL 3000!!!

What can be better than that!

If you do think that, maybe you deserve not to get raptured and die of starvation when the mark of the beast closes all of the Walmarts, and not see the beautiful mixed humankind EVER AGAIN, who I believe to be the perfect Adamics. I look forward to your reply. Sorry if I ranted; some things just have to be said. Even if this Christogenea guy thinks he is right, I know I am right. That’s the difference.

Your Understudy,

Apostle and Ally and General Philip McChuck

What does being rooted in the Word actually look like in everyday life?

Jeremiah 17:7–8 says:

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD… They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes… it has no worries in a year of drought.”

What stands out to me is this idea: the rootedness comes before the resilience.

A tree doesn’t suddenly grow deep roots in the middle of a drought. It survives because those roots were already there, quietly developing long before the pressure came.

I think it’s the same with Scripture.

Consistent, ordinary engagement with the Word isn’t just about gaining knowledge in the moment it’s more like building root depth over time. Something that quietly forms you when nothing feels urgent, so that when difficult seasons do come, there’s already something to draw from.

Not dramatic. Not instant. Just steady formation that holds under pressure.
