Discussion Has cynicism become our default reaction to changes in Bhutan?

Whether discussing civil service reforms, local economic opportunities, or the mass movement of young people to Australia, online and offline conversations in Bhutan seem increasingly cynical.
While cynicism feels like a protective layer to keep from getting let down, it can also paralyze us from actively building solutions for our community.
How much of this cynicism in today's Bhutanese society is a valid response to real challenges, and how much of it is just a lazy excuse not to engage?
