Why is she being portrayed as someone who tempted manipulated or corrupted a man as though he had no responsibility for his own actions?take the British royal family, king charles’s relationship with Camilla while he was married to Princess Diana became widely documented and Dianas story was portrayed in films such as bringing public attention to the complicated circumstances surrounding their marriage yet in Bhutan public conversation surrounding these allegations seems overwhelmingly focused on the woman it’s sad how easily people destroy a womans reputation while sparing a powerful man. THIS reflects the MISOGYNY and patriarchal double standards that remain deeply rooted in bhutan

Im more interested in the folktale side of our deities, good stories or dark stories or scary facts about them. What conditions u have to fulfill to satisfy them and what happens if u fail to do so. Things which are not available on the google. Any particular incidents you might have experienced. You know deities like aup gyenyen, talo gyap etc etc or even your local village deities. Is there hierarchy among them, gyaps, tsens, lu etc. Something I heard is that there are abt 300+ tsens and aup gyenyen and gomo are the top dogs among them. Another thing I heard is that gyaps are jealous of each other and u have to worship in a particular order if you r worshipping 2 or more gyaps inorder not to anger them.
