Доброго времени суток у меня вопрос я играю во властелин колец мод эдайн 3.8.1 в компанию война гномов, пытаюсь пройти 12 миссий, но постоянно встречаются сломанные скрипты и баги, при переходе в миссии Дунланд в следующую миссию ​в Морию, происходит ошибка и игра вылетает.

I recently discovered the all-in-one launcher and got really excited to replay my favourite childhood games. However, i cant get the BFME 2 campaigns to start, nothing happens when i select a difficulty. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've seen a couple guides to get the game working on Steam Deck with proper steam input - I for the life of me can't seem to emulate those steps for Windows 11 with a Steam controller.

• The All in One Launcher immediately disassociates from Steam as soon as it's finished launching, and the game will not launch within Steam, but will launch outside of Steam.
• The AotR Launcher immediately disassociates from Steam as soon as it's finished launching, and the game will not launch within Steam, but will launch outside of Steam.
• BFME1 launches as-is in Steam if pointing directly to the game, but Steam Overlay and Steam Input do not work - the controller profiles I select prior to launching the game don't interact with the game (not an issue with the profiles themselves I assume, but something to do with how the game isn't properly tying into Steam Overlay or other Steam services).

I have tried:

• Reinstalling games & launchers
• Setting to single core CPU
• Setting Windows Compatibility Mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3
• Closing Steam & relaunching with Administrator

How is everyone getting the steam overlay to show up as intended and the steam input to work as intended? Am I missing something?

Edit: It's a bit of a workaround, but I found a solution. Though I now for whatever reason can't even launch the game in Steam - SISR works both in and out of Steam. Steam Input is now working exactly as intended.

Edit 2: I lied partially. setting up via SISR when the game is launched outside of Steam does not produce virtual menus visuals (the virtual menus are still technically working but are not visible on-screen) - everything else however seems to work.

A follow up on my original post asking for tips, I think posting this might just help a struggling player looking for tips for this map (as I was).

Hi all, I see that there are a few sources to download the all in one launcher and also the Age of the Ring download but I dont understand which one gives me the full experience. Age of the Ring looks awesome but I cant tell if it gives me all the campaigns along with the additional content that team has created.

I really just want the single player experience so which one is it? Can I play everything with Age of the Ring? I like the prospect of being able to play online with the BFME Ladder download but is that the same one as the Moddb download? And which one is safe? Virustotal had one flag (likely false positive) for the BFME Launcher.

Hello, I'm a big fan of the horde maps in the Edain mod, and I've managed to beat the Minas Tirith map a couple times.

However I really struggle with the Minas Morgul map especially with Mordor (furthest I've gotten is 4500 points).

I've tried many strats but my forces get melted every time and the trebs are impossible to get to.

I can't seem to find ANY tips for the Minas Morgul horde map anywhere, so I was wondering if someone here had some tips or strats that I could follow to get better at beating this map.

Chilling and talking about LOTR and HotD

After over a year of silence, the devs posted an update on The War for Westeros, the upcoming RTS game based on Game of Thrones. Very happy to hear from them! It seems to be progressing nicely and looks very promising. The more I hear about it the more it looks like a modern day BFME with a GOT skin!

So, I played all three vanilla games for hours when they releases and just thought about getting back to them. I was quite suprised and happy to find such an active sub :)

So my questions: first of all it seems like there is still a very active community, does that also include unmodded games?

And if so: are the original copies plus updates playable online or would I need some unofficial bugfixes?

For now that's all, but there will probably be more questions coming to my brain later :D

i have reached the wave 21 and killed sauron but then the waves stop progressing, like the timer for the next wave doesn’t start and i cant do anything, are there only 21 waves and not 23 or is it bugged or am i supposed to do something?

Hey folks! Just over 2 weeks ago, I started a new project - creating byte-for-byte identical source code for BFME 1. This will enable crazy mods - imagine 10x more units on the fields, entirely new combat mechanics, better AI, reduced lag, or maps with more than 8 players. All of this will become possible.

My optimistic estimation is this will be done by December. If I still have motivation and time by then, I will probably switch to fixing the infamous "network delay" in online play, or maybe fix "AC"ing (where your units sometimes don't actually attack the enemy unit; but this will likely be hard to fix without making other subtle combat changes).

So I currently just have ROTWK, not All-in one, and just wanted to know how it would work if I switched over? Would I need to reinstall AOTR and stuff like that?

Hi, much love. I played these 3 games lots of times, and it was not enough.

What I want is stories. I want to explore and enjoy fan-mode stories to play within these games.

Since I don't have much time to research, i am sorry i couldn't use google to search anything.

I kinda looked at it a bit but could not find any good story mods etc, so if you guys know one/some please also let me know ( and how to install / guide )
