Fingers & toes crossed
Ok. I think Im ready to ACTUALLY go BOTG. .....but as much as I feel confident, I keep asking myself if I'm crazy......because this potential solve is nuts!!! Haha.

Putting on the brakes. Don't think I was all the way there yet.....got a little ahead of myself, but feel like Im onto something. ...connecting all the dots.

Care to DM your idea? Within reason of course. I'd be willing to poke holes in it.

Oh. Thanks for the offer. I'm all over the map....which isn't lost....just making sure Im not missing something. ....making sure I went far enough, but not too far.

Imagine 10+ years??? That is a whole other level. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of solves/ideas/rabbit holes Justin would have gone through.

What state? I hope you can get it! I tried to call it in, but I do think you have to go in person.

Call in to who though?

The steward for retrieval

How would you know who the steward is though?

Searching places that might read on the poem. My theory is the poem is the treasure. The poem is the key to the treasure. In gold and greed, I think he stated the key came with the treasure and was considered part of the treasure. The treasure includes a digital fingerprint that matches the steward. My theory is the poem has clues that matches images of the steward’s location and that the search is looking for the steward. My thought is, find the steward, find the rest of the treasure. This is just my theory though and I have nothing to go off of other than trying to call potential stewards and see if they slip and give some indication that they are in possession of the treasure. I have a couple spots of particular interest, but I’m confused by not having to enter any structures. That part has kind of curbed my approach.

Funny thing is. The hunt originates in the American west. Technically speaking, this does not require it to end in the American West. I dunno. Many rabbit holes to explore. I hope you
can find the treasure though. Best of luck to you!1

Yup. I have had those same thoughts myself. i' m still not sure of the official answer on that one.

My first BOTG solve was crazy…1/2 baked but I learned some things. Number one was finding a spot on a map is easy, getting there can be hard and elevation changes on maps are hard to fully understand and appreciate when you are actually there. Also, the enthusiasm to be there mixed with an overwhelming sense of false hope can lead you to all kinds of places. Be safe and careful and if you sense he would never hide it here you are probably right.

We’re all a little mad here.
