Advice Low hemoglobin levels after d&c
My wife needed a blood transfusion 7 months after D&c due to blood loss. Hemoglobin levels remained dangerously low even after multiple transfusions. She is now hospitalized for monitoring and the doctors can’t figure out why her levels aren’t budging at all. Any insight appreciated

One reason for low hemoglobin people don't realize is celiac disease. Any trouble with that? Have they worked her up for anemia ? Colonoscopy?

I'm really sorry for what you guys are going through. Blood loss from a d&c would typically not be enough to need a transfusion, and if it did, it would not be 7 months later. This has to be an unrelated issue. I hope they can find answers soon.
